My brother cristian Mejía was detained in this place three days ago and the first thing I thought to do was to see the reviews of this place. I was shocked because the reviews were very negative, but I’d like to inform to anyone going through this situation that the staff is highly qualified, kind. I traveled very far to visit and they helped me not waste the opportunity to talk to him. And in that visit, he told me how well he had been treated and how nice the place was. The food, their rooms, despite being a detention center it’s very comfortable. Thank you.

Very well treated. My uncle christian mejia is being held here with his cousin juan hernandez and they let us visit him, contrary to what all the other reviews seem to say. Was kind of scared due to all of the negative reviews but they were all proven wrong when i got there, and they have a very nice facility and they treat the detainees well.

Very unfair and inhumane. They didn't let me see my son, they told us the wrong visiting times on purpose. We had traveled from West Sacramento to see my son. They treat visitors with no respect, and they don't let you use the bathroom if you arrive at the building before 7:00AM, even though the building is open at that time. They didn't even grant my son's APPROVED stay order. The staff in the main lobby at the desk are extremely rude, and egotistical. So happy my son is finally out of that place!

My husband ended up here after getting pulled over. I had to drive twice a week from L.A. to come visit him. I Loved that They have Contact Visits twice a week. But Hated the fact that it was a hug one kiss Hello hug one kiss goodbye 😭😒😔

I have been trying to get the word out about how inhumane adelanto ice processing center on the west side has been. My husband is currently set there and he has informed me about the way they have not been given medical treatment when needed, it goes for so long that by the time they are given treatment the illness has gotten really bad and the rest of the inmates have been put in quarantine. They are also not been fed at times till 7 PM, and the excuse they give them is that they forgot. They don't give them toilet paper and when they ask officers for paper one of the officers response was " what do I look like the toilet paper man". When they are given stuff to clean they are dirty and no cleaning chemicals to disinfect tables or other areas. Please help get the word out. They have no right to be treating immigrants as if they are not worth anything

Terrible abuse of human rights. The average person has no knowledge of this inhumane treatment. The staff is incredibly rude, downright abusive and egotistical. The rules are so petty and the staff arbitrarily enforces them. A complete travesty of justice. I am indeed ashamed of my country for these actions.
