I was asked to repaint 6 old Christmas lawn cutouts. I used a combination of Nova Color, Liquitex, and Graphaids Acrylic. The only color I mixed using solely Graphaids was the lining color (Mars Black & Raw Umber). When I went to varnish with Modern Masters Exterior Dead Flat Varnish, the lining work was reactivated and smeared! Interestingly, it completely wiped off when painted over Nova Color Titanium White. I've never had this problem with any type of acrylic paint before and will never again use Graphaids Acrylics for exterior work.

Very helpful staff, and fantastic products and prices. Avi helped me pick out my dream plein air painting easel complete with a pochade box and umbrella. I am new to plein air painting and he also helped explain the background of the art so I feel confident at my meetup group tomorrow. I got out of there with everything I need - easel, paper paints brushes tripod, everything, for a very reasonable price. I would not feel so enthusiastic about tomorrow had I not met Avi today. Very happy.
Update: the meetup went fantastic and I will be back to this shop for more mediums like oils for future events. This place saved the day.

If I died I would want to come here - it’s like heaven. Especially since everything sells online now makes me feel good small stores can survive. There is so much to choose from and it’s all top notch. You aren’t thinking, “I could find that” or “this would cost less” online. Just go there and you will find reasonable prices and excellent selection for beginners and professionals. The store is small but it uses every opportunity to display well! The people are nice and helpful. And, if you can’t find it, ask! I bet they’ll have whatever it is.
