My wife and I had the experience of dealing with this organization. Our experience was not positive. We were approached by this organization due the a sale of some property that was owned by a deceased relative of my wife. This company initially informed us (after convincing us to agree to hiring them, stupid us) that all it would take was a phone call to retrieve the funds. We felt that was a lie. The organization then informed us that all we had to do was file simple paperwork to retrieve the money. We felt that was a lie also. We ended up having to hire an attorney to sue the state, only to find out that the state agency that was holding the money violated state law by selling the property. They didn’t follow their own rules. Regardless, the state agency denied our initial claim and refused to pay my wife. I had to get a state legislator involved to help. We’ve since received the money, but don’t agree that Covenant Investigations lived up to their promises. We feel that fee agreement is predatory, unethical and that the organization itself seems dubious.. DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR ANYTHING INVOLVING PROPERTY OR ESTATES.
