Repeated missed papers are nearly totaling the number we receive! JK but it feels that way. Phone reps are nice but results are lousy. I suggest we all inundate the managing editors’ mailboxes until we see results. Distribution response is well, unresponsive at best! Letters to the editor?
Mass complaints? It might help.

Placed an order for a weekly Sunday paper delivery. Never received a paper! Called a week after placing order, they said someone would deliver a Sunday paper late the following day. No paper. 2 Sundays pass, no paper! Call to cancel and ask for a refund and they say it's non refundable! And try everything to avoid canceling! Unbelievable! Booooooooo shame on you east bay times.

After my subscription expires, they continue to charge me money. They only allow you to cancel after you pay “what you owe.” Ridiculous and senseless.

I was called and told i could receive the East Bay times for free on a 7 day trial. I realized very quickly that I would not be reading the paper and just recycling it.

I called to cancel. They cancelled my subscription.

At this point, the calls started. I receive a call about 3x a week and sometimes multiple per day. After asking specifically to be put in the no call list, I got a call a few hours later.

The only thing I could recommend this business for is getting revenge on someone you hate by signing them up for this service.

This paper attempted to charge my family $1,300 for an obituary, it was predatory and outrageous. Yes, newspapers need to make money but they should not be doing it on the backs of grieving and vulnerable families. Although it may be old fashion, I still expect newspapers to perform a level of public service ... this paper obviously has no regard for the citizens living in the county or the need to share information when a lifelong citizen passes away. Shame!

They are THIEFS! DO NOT SIGN UP. Never received newspaper from them and they have been charging me since August. Someone called me since August and askes if I was receiving my newspaper I told that I had not and that I wanted to cancel. Well they never did. I just called them they said all they can refund me is $11 but I have paid them $54.** since August without receiving newspaper. NOW they said they will cancel my account now how do I know they are actually going to do it. And how do I get my money back if they said they are not going to refund me. I am so fustrated these thieves. Save yourselves thw hasstle dont sign up.
