Had a beef hotdog with Mac and cheese and onions on it. It tasted good but not mind blowing good. Perhaps my expectations were too high. Anyhow it is good but other hotdogs are also good so just set your expectations.
The location is nice with parking, shade and plenty of seating in and out. Went at 3pm and the there was a bit of a line, maybe 10 orders in front of me. However the line didn’t move very quickly, so I had to wait longer than expected.

Ted’s is dead… I haven’t been here in a bit (I’ve lived in the valley since the 90’s and used to come here a lot ) there was a line out the door and yes they could have probably used another person on the food line. The foot long bun was so stale and the hot dog was cold,
We ordered onion rings and it was a pile of burnt crumbs. My BF is 6’4” and could usually inhale 2 foot-longs, he didn’t even finish them that’s how bad they were. I guess the days of a decent dog at Ted’s is over just like a lot of the old standbys in the Valley.

A Buffalo classic perfectly transplanted to AZ. They even have Loganberry and Buffalo newspapers. They charcoal grill inside just like in Buffalo. Go for the footlong and the onion rings!

Stop reading. Just go here. Go here now.
Charcoal. Grilled. Hot Dogs.
They take you back in time where the stereotypical 1950's
dad stood over the charcoal grill, which who actually even DOES anymore, it's all propane and propane accessories now.
There will probably be a LINE there too. Do not let that turn you away, that line is really indicating to you that the food is AMAZINGLY good!
Ted, thank you. Thank you for taking your little Buffalo NY hot dog restaurant to PHX.
...go Bills.

Great change of pace when you're wanting to try something out of the ordinary. Great staff, food and very clean restaurant. We'll be back for sure when we're on that side of town.

Love Ted’s! Burgers and dogs are phenomenal. Never tried anything else but it all looks good. The onion rings are also great! They are not big thick rings, but skinnier ones. They are so good.

The employees are all very friendly and help you through the process. Highly recommend

As a fellow Buffalonian, you bet I had to come! It was great just like home. Get the footlong, I like mine extra done and you can pick your own fillings.

First of all $6.50 for a hot dog and two slices of bacon is a little steep but when they ask you what type of hot dog you want and don't let you know that it's an upcharge for all beef...that's a party foul. AND talk about a small Weiner. Second...toppings should never be charged for on a hotdog and if you're going to charge you need to let a person know up front when they ask for it. Third... it looks like the owner of this business walked across the street to Safeway, bought ballpark Franks and store buns and turned around and sold it at 10 times the price. All said and done a $6.58 hot dog turned into a $9.60 grocery store dog just by adding jalapenos and asking for all beef. That was a huge surprise when it came time to pay and what was I to say? take off the jalapenos or make it a different hot dog... no it was too late. I made sure to get a cola with my water cup after that fleecing.
