We purchased some "tres leches" cakes from Cafe Rio and they had mold!!! The packaging doesn't have any date stamps. This place has gone downhill. Incredibly disgusting. I am reporting them to the health department.

Steve is truly a gem. He worked so carefully on my food and was incredibly intentional. I really appreciate that! I do echo other commenters saying that it would be nice if the cilantro was cut smaller. Overall though, my food was tasty and the joyful customer service provided by Steve really made this visit a stand out for me!

Food was fine but man do they skimp out on the meat. Chipotle and Cafe Rio must be in competition for who can cheap out on the meat portion for their customers. $13 for a lettuce burrito is giving Taco Bell tacos a better name.

7/13 Update: the flour tortillas were delicious. The grilled steak was cooked perfectly. The Saturday special, Baja citrus shrimp tacos were abysmal. They had no flavor, were incredibly chewy, and truly difficult to bite into. This along with the prices. $17 for a combo with a drink is crazy. Likely won’t be back. Staff were very kind and quick.

The chips and queso was good, but I wished it had been a little thinner. The steak was well seasoned. The lettuce, tomato and cilantro all had a great freshness to them. The pollo asado had a really good flavor and was different than anything else they had.

they missed a whole enchilada and gave me no rice? I paid 16 for double enchiladas and 2 extra dollars for double rice. When I called the person said it’s not their problem and i have to contact uber eats

I decided to check this place out for the first time with my daughter since I had heard good things from others. We really weren't sure what to expect but when we walked in we weren't acknowledged at all. When we walked up to order, they took our orders but everything went so quick! I tried explaining it was our first time there and my daughter and I weren't really sure what to get. We ended up ordering tacos. After receiving our order I was instantly disappointed! I hadn't eaten all day long so I was too hungry to complain. I had to take out most of the lettuce that was in my tacos because it was too much! My daughter noticed a dark spec on one of the pieces of lettuce and as we looked closer we realized it was a bug! So disgusting!! I spit out the rest of my food and went to up to the manager to let her know. She offered me a complimentary dessert and I turned it down. I was so disgusted that we just left. Then my daughter told me to go back. She works in the food industry and knows the protocol when it comes to cleaning produce. She felt a full refund was owed and I agreed. So we went back. I told the manager we were not happy about the food and she gave me a PARTIAL refund. My bill was $33 and some change and she refunded me $14 and some change. Not a good way to conduct a business. A FULL refund was due! Chances that we will be back are slim to none. What a shame! Gots to do better people.

Got food poisoning from this location. They leave the meat out at unsafe temperatures. The guy making the food was not friendly and appeared to be on drugs. The portions were too small for the amount of money they want and it's dirty inside.
