Rocket Reuse has it all: books, CDs, LDs, records, dvds/BDs, and VHS. Prices vary but most items are very affordable. Nice and helpful staff too.

i love rocket reuse. i've been going there regularly for years, and the staff are so sweet, friendly, and helpful. they have a great collection of vintage clothes, shoes, and accessories ranging from about $10-120 in cost, vintage records & cds, second hand dvds, and so many second hand books! i come here to find cute clothes to add to my wardrobe and find books at affordable prices. they also buy vintage clothes, records, books, etc at a fair price.

Good place to find good prices on used movies, vinyl records, video games, books and a lot of other useful entertainment. It’s a lot more organized than the average thrift shop I’ve been to and unlike other places that you’ll most likely leave empty handed, there’s usually a little something for everyone there. I’ve usually found quite a few good movies there, including some newer stuff.

Plus it’s a locally run business. Buy locally whenever you can. These stores add character to our community.

This store is a gem in Alameda and one of my favorite bookstores on this side of the Bay Area. Many used books of different genres, DVDs, and board games to browse around the store. This store is definitely worth it for bibliophiles, and treasure finders.

I've always found a treasure (or absurd gift idea) every time I've been. Always something amusing to come home with, from obscure books, neat board games or just some absurdly terrible film on DVD for less than $1, you can't go wrong!

Such a lovely store. Been in off and on for almost 10 years and I hope for 10 years more. Records in great shape, awesome books. But more than anything the clothes and clip on earrings (I don’t have holes). Wonderful service and fun store to browse for hours. You can tell they’re a neighborhood staple because of the folks who stop in to say hi and chat.
