Well organized shelves with clear signage and competitive pricing. Store ambiance is very inviting and aisles are very tidy. Lots of parking 🅿️ spaces too! This Safeway in American Canyon, California is easily accessible along Napa-Vallejo Highway (California 29) and West American Canyon Road. Having a gasoline station in this location is a bonus, with very good gasoline prices as well! Highly recommended 💯

I love Safeway, but I’m totally pissed off at them because they stopped carrying Plugra butter. An Italian European style butter, rich and butterfat is hands-down THE BEST butter on the planet. Kerrygold, Challenge, d’Isigny —even Tillamook have been schooled. Nuff said. I’ll have to go elsewhere for my butter.

These cookies got them last night around 6-7 they where packed on the 15th the day we got them and they were literally not the best sorry.. but we tried to get the newest ones for better results but it didn’t turn out as expected:/

Tonight, I shopped at Safeway at two separate times. Unfortunately, I was racially profiled by the same 3rd party contracted security guard with whom I've reported twice already at Vallejo Safeway for the same behavior, yet nothing has been done to rectify the issue. I went shopping at 10:25PM and I spotted him following me around in the produce department. As a regular patron of Safeway, and former employee, this continued profiling is unjustified and unlawful. For this reason, I unfortunately will have to start wearing a body camera to document said repeated instances and taking legal action as necessary. Safeway, the staff was helpful tonight, giving me the proper guidance whom to reach out to. However, you must do something to rectify your 3rd party contracted security guard issue.

Ordered the Pretty In Purple Large Bouquet on DoorDash to our hotel to surprise my gf for Valentine’s Day as we visit. Suppose to come with roses, spray roses, double lilies, mini callas, tulips, fillers and greens. What I got was all carnations which are way cheaper. Bummer…..

Don’t use the app for this location, don’t send your orders for pick up to this location. They are extremely lazy and you will be waiting for it past the actual time. Mind you the store isn’t busy.

Good store. They have several items that I can't find elsewhere, without driving 8+ miles. Reasonably well stocked and good variety, produce and on sale/free items that can run out fast, but they're doing better. Sometimes they could use more checkers, but the wait times have improved. The staff is friendly and helpful. They expanded the self-checkout stations to 6. Some coupons only work at the checkout with a clerk who can correctly process certain paper coupons. The Safeway app has improved some. It's easier to find and 'clip' those coupons and sale items. Keep up the good work.
