Made Studio is a gem located in the heart of Oak Park in Sacramento, capital of beautiful California. This is much more than a coworking space, it is a community-centered space for creatives to gather, make things, learn, share information and resources and strengthen as a class of workers. The space has beautiful natural light, tons of machines to make just about anything you dream of, from old school analog tools like saws and sewing machines, to super high tech 3D printers. The staff and members are generous in providing information and sharing knowledge and resources, making this a super welcoming environment for makers and entrepreneurs in all stages of their careers. This is also a safe space for women, people of color, the queer folx, immigrants, and all strata of humans. On any day at Made Studio, you will artists, creatives and business owners as colorful as the community here in Sacramento, one of the most diverse cities in the world. What a playground full of cool toys and people, professional tools and small business professionals, great atmosphere and good soul filling vibes. Definitely a space that will let you go as far as you want. At a base level it’s a nice place to pull up a desk and appreciate some local artists and makers. Great hours, comfortable work spaces indoor and outdoor, as well as the usual amenities of coffee, microwave, bathroom, printers, and more.

This is an amazing place! The people who run it are knowable, kind, and helpful. The people that use it are also kind and welcoming. The equipment and training available are outstanding. I would highly recommend the Made Studio to anyone interested in creating, learning, or making. Great job!

The staff is great, the people are friendly and helpful. This is a 1 stop shop to create until your heart is content and then learn something else and something else. This is the type of environment that I've been yearning for to explore the artistic side of my mind. I'm in Awe of Made Studio‼️🌻

I could not be happier co-working at Made. They have an amazing open space with great lighting and amazing people. To a person the staff is super cool. This is the best place I've ever worked in, cannot recommend it highly enough!

Made is a comprehensive makerspace with great service! They had equipment I was familiar with while also putting me on to new tools and materials to try out. As a person who likes to do one-off projects, I appreciated not investing in supplies to only use once.

But this is not just a building with machines. The staff makes this place better. For me, making things is gritty and taxing. Success is hard-won with time intensive trial and error. It’s invaluable to take on a project knowing that you always have support if you need it. You can also take advantage of the ease of one-on-one attention through the classes. I recommend taking the classes with the flexibility to practice the techniques on your own project. In my experience, that included the laser, sticker, and Onshape classes. It’s so exciting to see the application in a relevant way, as opposed to demos with abstract shapes or generic models.

My favorite part about being a member at Made was finding opportunities to work as a team. Sharing that aha moment with another person and figuring things out together is a feeling I’m always chasing. I got to experience that thrill many times here. It beats YouTubing the solution at home!

WOW! I do not really have the words to explain how excited I am to be part of this space. The hacker lab has everything, a solo or entrepreneur needs to take its business to the next level.
