Absolutely the worst vendor experience in my 40-year career. For my simple website, their "designer" took over 80 days and it was still error-ridden. I say "designer" because it's obvious that she took an existing WordPress template and loaded my existing site into it. How much "designing" did she really do?

During that 80-day period, I spent over 25 hours of my own time, correcting errors that were so obvious that anyone could have picked them out, but yet she still sent me the copy anyway--saying it was good-to-go. Despite multiple screenshots and step-by-step instructions from me, the errors remained uncorrected after 2-3 attempts at each error. Finally, after multiple attempts the errors were reduced to only 2. BTW, I exchanged over 100 emails with this designer trying to get my site corrected. Total frustration.

Uploading the site? Attempting to upload the site to my ISP took 3 Zoom meetings with the designer and over 5 hours of my time on those meetings . . . it's now up, but still has the 2 remaining errors!

Maybe I just had a bad/inexperienced "designer", and this is a better company than my experience shows, but I have my serious doubts.

Back in the 90s I bought Windows for Dummies, a computer, and $79 Publisher. The crude three page site i made had no traffic for a month. I found Bruce Clay's site and followed everything it recommended that I could incompetently do for SEO. I solemly swear that in two weeks I had 120000 hits per month and was totally overwhelmed. I was hopelessly deleting 200 form inquiries a day. The phone rang constantly. I developed a giant list of negative keywords and got it eventually under control, as he recommended.
Everything Bruce Clay's SEO site has published over the decades has proved correct in every way. I have provided a business and my family with income the entire time as a result.
