Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Give 0 Stars If Possible

I would rate this place even lower than 1 star if that was an option. My experience with this community health center was nothing short of frustrating. The customer service is incredibly disappointing, and I received misleading information multiple times. My appointment was canceled twice without any explanation or prior notice, leaving me completely in the dark. The lack of professionalism and poor communication from the optometry department was especially concerning.

I would strongly advise against scheduling any appointments here, especially with the optometry department. The level of service and respect for patients’ time is severely lacking. I hope this review helps others avoid the same issues I encountered.

They canceled our appointment at the last moment. We waited for this appointment for 3 weeks without a good reason. The front desk lady called and canceled because the OBGYN doctor didn’t show up the day before, and she was backed up on appointments and canceled our appointments. Very disappointed and unprofessional service from Bay Area Community Health. Not recommended at all; this place should replace all these employees, including the unprofessional OBGYN doctor, whoever she is.

Over this place as a whole lately. Dr and office staff don't communicate. Then if you get their Fremont office involved for billing or referral they just as horrible with communication. They make processes so difficult when all patient one is decent care or to not be in pain anymore. Companies as them who have seen to taken over medical in our whole area lately is why I feel our medical system sucks 😞 definitely looking for better care .

Scheduled a TB skin test, was told to go to the 3055 McKee Rd. The 3055 McKee location was only to sign forms, then I would receive telehealth call from Dr who would place order at the 1066 S White Rd location. Representative on the phone failed to inform me.

Then when I was done with the phone call at my scheduled time, the Dr told me the staff would simply call me up. Not so, I had to go back to the line, tell the staff to notify back office. It has now been 1 1/2 hours since my initial visit to the McKee location.

When I used to get a TB skin test at a CVS Minute Clinic, I was in/out in 10 min.

Such inefficient process and mismanagement.

Next time, I will either go to my PCP or elsewhere. Was it really necessary to mark up my arm with a pen?

I visited this location to discuss an issue. I had an appointment and was seen on time. Brenda helped me and was polite and professional. I can not comment on doctors because I did not need to see one, but it was explained that they service so many patients and the wait is long simply due to the demand. And I understand that. Front desk attendants were also nice.

Meaghan lauf is very unprofessional and DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HER patients at all.. have been calling for 40 days to refill prescriptions which is very important for diabetic my pharmacy is contacting her everyday and she's not even responding to them and lying to me and saying she never receive anything and she said well I can't do anything about it. DO NOT GO TO HER. SHE HAS NO KNOWLEDGE WHATSOEVER

Had a great experience. NP Nikki Fatapour was incredibly kind, caring, and thorough. She listened well to what I have tried in the past and went above and beyond to try to help me get better. A+ team!

Don’t go to this place. I think they don’t have anymore doctors but keep receive patients. They booked an appointment for me 2 months in advanced and canceled it 30’ before the appointment. The reason was the doctor was sick and they don't have any available doctors to sub. Then I had another appointment through phone call. Still nothing. i suggest you to find another place more responsible and trustworthy.
