I love this Library the employees are so willing to help with anything you may need. They have a great kids section as well. My daughter is an adult now but has been coming since she was a kid. They always have something fun going on. My little cousin loves the crafts that she can bring home so I always grab a couple for us todo together .

Love this library. We were new here and the staff were very inviting and helpful. They even have story time for the children on certain days and If you have a child I highly recommend you take them to it. It’s amazing how much effort they put in for this.

We love this library! It is small but they do their best to get you what you’re looking for. You can purchase prints here and they have free Wi-Fi availability along with desktops you can use. They also provide free summer reading programs for kids which helps to keep them busy during summer break.

This is a very relaxing library however it's hard to concentrate with the loud and rude woman at the front desk.
If she's not talking loud on the phone, she's talking loud to patrons. She is also rude half the time and talks loud In front of other patrons about your business if you should have late fees.

We really enjoy the time there when that woman is not working

I have been to many public libraries and there were three ladies working the front. One older woman, gray hair in a bun. One lady whom I'm sorry to say morbidly obese and a younger lady with purple hair. Guess who was the nicest Yup. The one with purple hair. The older lady was rude and condescending, the other obese, treated me like a nuisance. Nuff said. Oneonta, your better than this

The Oneonta Public Library has been a lifesaver for me for years. When my children were young, when I was a teacher at OES, and now, as my grandchildren are learning to read, I have depended on the wonderful staff there to guide me and help me in every way. Going to the library and choosing books each week is one of Molly's favorite events, and mine, also. Thank you for being so accomodating and allowing us to borrow and read many more books than we could ever possess.
