Absolutely do not recommend. Not only did Cristina the GM charge whatever card she felt like that day, but she charged me whatever she wanted. She tried charging my cc that I keep locked due to this exact reason before 8am, even though the website GUARANTEES you wont be charged until check in, i made a online booking while on at work being screamed at and threatened by Cristina using a different card and when it declined she TEXTED me, demanding i leave or pay, then without asking, charged a completely different account, which she would have had to MANUALLY do it as that existing booking was different from initial. calling the police after she charged me over $200 for ONE NIGHT (a Wed at that) she got physically aggressive, found out after she called me at work screaming and TELLING me my dog is not a service dog, which I offered all proof upon check, she manually charged me 3 times for $40 pet fee. She absolutely refuses to give you her bosses info, between both CC I was charged over $800 for less than a week. I've filed a complaint against the company for breaking the law resorting being charged and STILL 2 weeks later nothing has been resolved. I had to call Kinseth multiple times asking about a $71 cancelation fee I shouldn't have been charged for 5 weeks ago and the charge has still yet to be returned. if you call Wyndham they literally will not help you except recording the complaint. There is NO ONE to try and resolve the matter with. Since you can't be bothered to help a customer who can provide black and white proof of every illegal and unethical thing Cristina and this company has done, I guess I'll need to seek legal action. Cristina should be in jail for theft and Kinseth either needs to get it together or leave the hotel industry. I know they own/operate a couple Hiltons in CR for sure, so it's not like some small business that doesn't know what they are doing.

I can only share my experience regarding the Clear Lake (NASA)/Houston property.

The gm, front desk and house keeping employees are unprofessional and rude.

The staff will never greet you or acknowledge you when you are leaving.

When they do communicate, it is not on a professional level at all. They say what do you need instead of how may I help you. They will inform you that they do not know, so you should come back in the morning. Also, they will let you know they do not get paid enough.

They dress inappropriately and do not wear uniforms, especially the night and weekend staff. Sweat pants, wrinkle t-shirts, hoodies and see-through tights are allowed.

They never have any clean towels, blankets/sheets, soap, shampoo or conditioner.

The printer is always broken. They have dirty carpet, couches, pillows, shower and window curtains. The hotel smells like mildew and dog poop.

You have to wait at the front desk until they come from the office, the cubby hole, or get off their phone (while it's on speaker). Sometimes the bell is left out for you to ring.

They are allowed to bring their children and boyfriends to work and hang out.

There is never any quarters available to exchange for dollar bills when you need to wash. You have to wait for housekeeping to finish laundry in the guest laundry room before you can start.

Watch out for the big pot hole in the parking lot and dark areas.

Hurry to breakfast before housekeeping take their morning break and finish off the food.

Every employee is related, dating someone in the family or friends from high school.

No experience or education is needed to work there and it is okay to come to work high or smelling like weed.

It's so much more, but I am too tired to finish writing all of it.

Oh, I stayed because it was close to my job and Baybrook Mall. I only showered and slept there.

I have pictures and videos as evidence it Kinseth is interested and would like to rectify all of the problems.

A hotel secret shopper should visit sometime soon.

Kinseth, your employees are running your customers away.

Good quality customer service is what it is all about. It is unfortunate that Marriott allows this to go on.

My experience with this company has been awful. I was hired to replace a heater for the swimming pool. We provided a price, Bruce Kinseth accepted it, then we installed it. The total work was $8,189.00. We sent invoice, then they went dark. Zero communication. They did not respond to emails or phone calls.

I have reached out to every single Kinseth family member that operates/owns this business and absolutely nothing. This has been going on since the summer of 2021.

I was finally informed by Bruce Kinseth via a text message that they had zero intentions to pay the invoice. They were hoping I would just go away. He then told me he had no money, would pay me $3,000.00, then increased it to $5,000.00 and said I am lucky that he is even offering money. Mind you, Bruce is not at the office in Iowa, he is in a other home in Sunny Florida. I am sure he has no problem paying the expenses associated with that house, but paying contractors is another story.

I was able to finally speak to a Kinseth on the phone yesterday, Ben Kinseth. He seemed like a nice guy and was like I never heard of this issue let me see if I can help. Ok Ben, you haven't received my voicemails or emails or invoices The receptionist said you ran the accounting department and your the one that pays the bills. Yet he completely denied knowing a thing. Then he got upset when I vented my frustrations with not being able to speak with anyone on the phone or receive an email for 6 months, told me he didn't have time for this and unhung up the phone. If he can't handle the venting and frustrations of a service provider that you are purposefully not paying, not communicating, then he should probably change the way his company operates.

I do not recommend Kinseth Hospitality Companies to any person or business.

With over 75 locations throughout the midwest they have something for everyone. Having staying as a guest I know I will get clean and comfortable accommodations every time.

I also frequent several of their restaurants on a regular basis and have always enjoyed the food and experience.
