I've been to this store several times and it's been okay. Relatively clean, remodeling so some things were hard to find or out of stock.

However this evening I went with my spouse to pick up some things, and on our way out the person scanning receipts on the way out was honestly so rude that we will never return to this location, and instead go the extra 30 minutes to Birmingham to do our shopping.

We use the scan and go feature of the ap so we don't have to wait in line and also can keep better track of our spending real time, but we'd stopped at the Cafe after check out, and so we pulled up the receipt to give to the guy scanning, and he immediately snapped at my spouse that that wasn't a receipt, my wife started to respond it was a receipt from the receipt area of the app, but she wasn't sure how to get back to the scan and go receipt. He instead closed the app on the phone and started shouting at us that he needed a black box to scan, which flustered both of us with a line behind us. My wife was able to find the right page again, with him yelling the entire time, and then when he scanned it, he passive aggressively thanked us for knowing more than him, and when my wife tried to explain that she was just trying to ask a question and he again shouted her down and said no she wasn't, he could tell, but he wasn't trying to argue and she wasn't worth it, and we walked away rather than cause a scene.

He continued to complain about us, however, to the next few people in line to leave, which is why we spoke with a manager, who said she'd have a conversation with him, but on the way back out the store he had to finish with a "I knew she'd go say something".

We'd done literally nothing to deserve that, we will not be returning to the store knowing we may have to deal with him again on our way out. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a Sam's Club.

Most of the time a clean store. It does take awhile to check out. The greeters and exit greeters (idk what to call them) are usually always friendly. We bought some of the biggest grapes ive ever seen and they were so good. I was disappointed that they didn’t have cotton candy grapes since they are hard to find and this is the only place I’ve ever seen them.

Update: Sam’s reached out and gave us the appropriate store credit. Much appreciated.

Very disappointing result. We bought some chicken that smelled bad when we opened it the following week. It was still well within the expiration date. They refused to refund or give store credit, even though they are having obvious ongoing issues with the freezers, that have continued since our incident.

The cafe has done awesome recently. My kids and I eat here alot. They changed the direction of the line which made so much more sense with foot traffic. The employees were all very nice. Chad was great!

I was near this Sam's club and wanted a fountain drink so I decided it would be quick and easy to just go in. I only took cash in with me though and the cafe line was super long so I went to a register. While waiting in line, another cashier opened the register next to me and told the lady behind me to come over and she would check her out. The person behind her (2 behind me) asked if she could help her with a quick return and was told that the current customer was ahead of her so she had to take her first. While the lady was maneuvering her cart full of stuff to unload, I asked if I could quickly pay for a drink, to which she replied in a very rude tone, "No, I'm sorry, it'll be just a minute!" I could have paid and been gone before the lady ever got her cart unloaded, but whether she was going to let me pay or not her poor attitude was unnecessary. What should have been a quick in and out turned out to take 10+ minutes of waiting. Additionally, the cafe trash was overflowing and there was trash and spilled drink all over the floor and area where drink lids are located.

I'm not normally one to complain and I have been very satisfied with the Oxford location for the last 4 years but in the last 3 weeks in particular absolutely abysmal everything that requires refrigeration dairy products frozen foods, meats Deli Meats and more out of stock there is no explanation as to why and while they still have dry goods water and canned goods so I have still been making making orders there I reached out to Sam's Club website through their chat they didn't have an explanation as for what this was I reached out to the Oxford Sam's Cub Front desk person and they couldnt provide and explanation or a estimate of restoration I called the 1-800 number for Sam's they had even less of a clue what the heck is going on. They allegedly filed an inquiry to find out what was going on with their own club it's been a week since then it's been a total of two and a half weeks that the I've been left without answers with this situation. I am disabled and I don't have a car and this is where I do all of my shopping I depend on this Club for my grocery needs and I pay for the premium membership and I'm not trying to bring it up out of a sense of entitlement rather out of a sense of loyalty to the brand Faithfully for years and I have to find out from a delivery driver not someone who was in an official capacity but someone who took the gig to drop off my groceries which they're all awesome drivers by the way so this is not meant as a disrespect to them but I had to find out from them that what's going on at Sam's is I had been told they were remodeling but there's no end date there's no estimated repair there's nothing official from Sam's Club on this what the heck is going on why am I finding out information at third hand from delivery drivers why can I not get any premium response on this this is ridiculous thank God I only rely on Sam's Club for my groceries and no I can't take my business elsewhere I have special circumstances Ergo I go through this club so no it's not an option for me to go somewhere else and it shouldn't be this hard to get an answer out of an we're still with all the information I do have I still have no idea when it's going to be back up there's been no notification about any of this this is crazy

UPDATE 8/30/24

Update to situation reached out to local Oxford store they claimed that everything but Dairy is back in stock but the website still shows out of stock on everything shows either unshippable or out of stock for either pick up or delivery. They advise they reach out to the 888 number I did again like I did two weeks ago I advised that I had already filed a complaint about this I advise that the updated status at Oxford location Oxford location advises that they have no control over the website and it has to be taken care of by the head office. I reached out and after explaining the situation I was put on hold and then hung up on this is outrageous is this how you treat people that you consider lesser than you? It's unacceptable. Surely this cant be ADA compliant

I called again wwasd supposed to speak to a manager and AGAIN THEY HUNGUP

On my third attempt I finally was able to get a hold of a manager they are looking into it right now time is 4:28 p.m. on the 30th of August 2024 I will update as soon as possible.

So the "owner" reply feels inadequate. No date is given for estimated resolution. But I guess they should be allowed to fail alittle bit as they were very good all times prior to this mess.
