This was my first visit to Mason City Motor Speedway. I liked the high bank short track. The track crew did a great job prepping and maintaining the track! Thank you for all of your hard work. The seating and viewing was amazing! As with any dirt track if you sit near the bottom expect to get dirty. I would have given a 5 star, but the power went out and we sat there for some time right before the big show. They were able to get the power back on and finished the night. The rest of the facilities is pretty aged (bathrooms and concessions).

I would go again.

Good night for racing! Would be better if the car counts were up, but it is a Sunday evening schedule so many have to work the next day!

The races here are pretty awesome. You never know what to expect. The racer in 1st place usually doesn't come out in first at the checkered flag. Food and drinks are a little pricey. The seats are just your average bleachers so bring something for the cushion if you don't have much your pushing.
