I had one of the best experiences with an insurance person that I've had in many, many years. I'm an older person so I'm used to the good service I used to get from an insurance company. I worked with a lady named Deanna McDermott in the Maquoketa office of the Rachel Davis agency. Briefly, I received a billing for my annual homeowners policy that nearly doubled since last year. I called the Dubuque office and did not receive a call back as indicated when I called in the AM. When I called back later in the day Deanna took my call. She dig some digging and called me back shortly. She found out for me that I was not covered by any auto insurance since March 2024, which was a problem within State Farm's auto group billing. She instantly created a new policy for me so I was covered. She went over and above to help me with the problem. Getting a new auto policy would then reduce my homeowners policy. Had she not researched this problem immediately, I would still be uncovered, unknowingly to me. Deanna did a quick and thorough job and documented with notes what happened. I can recommend her highly if you happen to get her on the phone. Thank you Deanna. Just like the old days. Mike

When our prior agent passed away the transition to the new agent was seamless. When I filed a claim after hitting a deer, Deanna McDermott gave me a call to make sure all was well and that no one was hurt. She has always been extremely helpful and is wonderful to work with. I have been with State Farm since 1970...have always had good service but moving here to Iowa I found a super person to work with me on my car and house insurance,
Deanna is very knowledgeable with the insurance. She has always answered my questions and explained things to me. I think she would out and info I needed if she didn't know right off.
Her attitude is always positive.
I do appreciate her help...thanks to her and State Farm

Just want to say. The customer service by Deanna has been beyond great. I have come to rely on her over the years. Cant beat local people who have gotten to know you. It was a shock when Jeff passed. I hope the new owner embraces the "small town" way. These days you can do everything online if it is not there. Thanks Ross
