NO ONE replies back to vmails left (from several people in my family), called many times almost every week going on 6 weeks now. Was finally able to speak to Chad, only because the nice lady answering main number xferred me, gave him details of call, was told he would follow up, now weeks later and still NO contact. Not even a call to say OMG I'm so swamped and sorry. Weeks?

All we wanted was to see if a story would be ran to praise the 3 local teenagers for saving our father who had collapsed from a stroke on a trail by the river. It was 35deg out and dropping, dark soon and he had laid already for 2 hours. THEY SAVED HIM.

Would have thought the paper would like a positive story to run for the community. Just horrible community service and support in my opinion.

Very inconvenient place for a semi truck, no dock and no way to get back without a tire cuted by the curbs. Not come back definitely

The cost to place classified ads in the Courier is very expensive. The same goes for Obituaries. Better off using Ottumwa Post online.

They r very picky when it comes to getting the paper out on time when sometimes they don't even have any idea what's going in.
