This is a great local store if you live in or are passing through Sugar Grove, NC. Here are some things you may not know just passing by.

- They have amazing cooked to order food with fantastic prices. Their sausage and gravy biscuits are amazing. You can get a biscuit any way you want it for breakfast. Ham, Egg, Cheese, Sausage, Bacon or just plain. Whatever you like! They also serve a full menu of lunch and dinner.

- They have basic groceries, household items, basic car maintenance/repair and mountain style home decor.

- They are also always super friendly and always welcoming.

Very convenient to local yokels, they have a large variety of drinks, (no alcohol). They have a restaurant inside, and homemade sweets, breakfast sandwiches for morning folks. Gas station is good 👍

Great old school country store that has a little bit of everything. Gonna pay a premium price for stuff off the shelves.
They do need to ensure their restrooms are functional for guests with an emergency. Staff was friendly and did make an accommodation to use the employee bathroom after repeated requests.

Breakfast biscuits are a little dry most of the time, and a little expensive. Otherwise it’s a good store with a cool owner. We stop here almost every morning for a biscuit because it’s in the area where we’re working. Most of the few other stores don’t have biscuits.

This place is amazing. They offer a bit of everything including antiques and handmade antique quilts. They also have a deli. Best grilled chicken sandwich I have ever had.

10/10 little store located on the outside of Boone very well worth the 10 minute drive from downtown. The food is made fresh to order, and it’s always good regardless of what you get. As a local who never ventured out that way until the last 3-4 years I always stop here when I can to get food. Sometimes it’s worth driving out just for the food.
Btw the Cuban sandwich is the best one I’ve had yet

Nice folks. They make the absolute best burger I have had in my 65 years on this planet. It also has a mini hardware section, which helps keep me from having to go the several extra miles to Lowe's. They have a nice crafts section.

The food was great and the people were even better. We were from out of town and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We stopped to get gas and stretch so we stayed awhile. We had a blast talking to the friendly customers and staff. There are a lot of neat items for sale and locally made foods. The homemade butter was the best. If we come back to the area, we will definitely make a point to visit again. Thanks Cove Creek staff for a wonderful experience.
