All the people were wonderful at the ER. I was so worried about being labeled because I am a pain patient. The doctor gave me some options he was straight forward with me. He gave me what I needed and he’s the first doctor to make me feel like a human being again in over a year. Thank you very much. I was in and out in under 1 hour. I have a long road ahead of me but I’m thankful for the treatment he gave me. The nurses were also amazing to me. They never once made me look bad for my chronic pain. That actually listened to me.

Sorry to write a bad review, but this was truly our emergency experience. Our daughter had a fever, cough and low oxygen levels at the time sent here. They took an X-ray and said they didn't see anything. When she was sent via emergency care to childrens in Pittsburgh,.they found pneumonia in her lungs.by X-ray. Tell me why the heck they can.not see that in Greenville.hospital How blind are we? How trained are we?.it's a common infection!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But yet we had to take our child for 4 days to children's hospital in Pittsburgh!!! Are you freaking kidding people !? All you had to do was give her oxygen and antibiotics until she got better much faster. Lost faith in this group of physicians......

Absolutely horrible. I’ve been at this hospital twice this year and the way I was treated was insane. Always downplaying what you’re telling them. ALWAYS rude! I told my nurse (Kim) I think was her name, “thank you” multiple times and she said nothing back to me. I was on the phone saying I just got an IV in. The nurse rolled her eyes and left the room. When I woke up (confused) because I hadn’t slept in over 14 hours until I got this IV. I was rudely yelled at by multiple staff members I needed to leave the room or security would be taking me out.

The staff at Greenville emergency room are absolutely wonderful! We had a scary experience the other night with an allergic reaction and we were treated with the best care. The staff was great! Kim at the front desk, Joy the nurse and Dr glen were wonderful! They treated my daughter with such care and were so kind to me and her. Nurse Jason stopped in and checked on her with some sticker’s too which was so sweet and beyond caring! Thank you Greenville ER staff for being phenomenal.

If there was an Option to provide a lower score than 1-star, this would be it. My father-in-law went to the ER in an ambulance because he was too week and disoriented to drive. He was very appreciative of the ambulance EMTs who were kind & caring. They took his vitals and found his blood pressure EXTREMELY low and started an I.V. to transport him to UPMC Horizon - Greenville E.R., where he had visited 3 times in the preceding days due to similar issues that now were continuing to worsen. He was just over 1-week post-op from major surgery. His son (my husband) and I live over an hour away and he called us about 10pm because the E.R. refused him care! He didn't have his wallet with him, and no way home - or anywhere else. After a high-speed drive to the E.R. to try to understand what really was going on, we found him quietly sitting in the E.R. waiting room, somewhat disoriented, and barely able to stand. I very politely asked the E.R. Receptionist if we could speak to the Doctor so we could understand the facts (i.e., we didn't want to rely on my father-in-law's statements), and what could be done for him. The receptionist was polite & friendly and said that she would send the nurse out to talk to my husband & I. Instead of the nurse or doctor coming to advise us of their findings/actions, they sent the UPMC Police Security Guard who told us that my father-in-law had been belligerent to the staff, and they were not only refusing to treat him because of it, but also refused to talk with us to explain what had/had not been done for my father-in-law! We drove 1-1/2 hours (now after midnight) to take my Father-in-law to a different non-UPMC hospital where they admitted him because his blood pressure was dangerously low, his kidney function almost non-existent, and he was severely dehydrated!!! Bottom Line: UPMC Horizon - Greenville E.R. experience was appalling.

Note that the response here from UPMC to go fill out Form on their website so I can talk to Patient Representative has NOT been addressed by UPMC. I not only filled out the form but followed up with e-mail. Still NO Response. Pitiful!!

Do not come here for anything over a slight cold my wife is crying in pain can barely walk and the doctor comes in and says she on a list for drug seekers. When she's never once asked for narcotics. I laughed at the doctor and apparently laughing at a doctor is inappropriate. Spoke to one of the nurses about Dr ALI. She didn't care anymore then he did. Right out of the gate he came in and called my wife a drug seeker. Down right disrespectful then nurse told me if I'm not happy with the care here then we can leave in what world does a hospital do anything. None of the boards on the ER are filled out with doctor or nurses names they have flipped all of there badges so you can't see their names when th y come into the room he threw me out of her room then accused me of stealing her pain meds. What kind of hospital is this!?! The doctor didn't like what I had to say about him so I. Not allowed to be with my wife

I have been to the ER several times over the last two years for care due to a transplant I had. I got right in immediatly every time and the issue was resolved every time. I am very happy there is such a facility so close to my home.

I also use their lab for my tests and they ship the transplant lab work to Cleveland. They are so kind and helpful. It saves me a ton of time and expense not having to drive Niles, Ohio, the closest Cleveland Clinic collection site. They are a real blessing to me.
