The employees are very nice and friendly. They have a great selection of men's clothing, especially suits and blazers and I always find myself checking out with at least a few in my hand. Compared to the other Goodwills in the surrounding areas, they're the best when it comes to men's clothing. They also have a great selection of books, somewhat organized into genres. They need more carts though.

Xavier does a really good job and deserves a raise. That’s the fastest I’ve ever seen the line move in Goodwill. Five stars just for them.

The staff is wonderful and always helpful. I can tell they work hard to make it as nice as possible. Service is better than many first hand stores.

They don’t control their inventory and it seems they get a lot of castoffs st this location but Ive found some great hiking gear, nevertheless.

To the donators: WHY WOULD YOU DONATE A VIDEO THAT DOESN’T PLAY?

They would have to watch the entire video to know it sticks midway through.

Don’t give broken shtuff!

They no longer give bags. An elderly lady had a whole buggy full of stuff and was told she had to purchase bags. Military discounts are awesome, but I don't believe they should interfere with other people's goodwill rewards. Also, returns should be connected to the phone number. I lost the tiny slip that was stapled to my recipet (I showed the cashier the original receipt of the return) and now I can't even use my store credit. Money down the drain...

I was at the ATM in the parking lot near the Springfield Goodwill on May 27th, when a storm suddenly blew up. I decided to wait it out in Goodwill. About the time I had parked my car, ran up to the door, Tornado sirens started going off. One of the ladies that works there was locking the doors and told me they were going on lockdown and that I needed to go home. I informed her quite hysterically that I lived in Ashland City. It was at this point she was joined by another lady and they hurriedly pulled me in and told me to go take cover with the other employees. I can honestly say that I was terrified. All the employees were kind and caring. They made sure that I was comfortable . They all acted calm and reassuring and even made me laugh a couple of times. When it was over, they went back to business as usual as though nothing had happened. Thank you Springfield Goodwill for sheltering me in the storm. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Let me begin by saying I shop at this Goodwill frequently but late yesterday afternoon changes everything for me!! My neighbor myself and her 2 young children 10 & 7 went to find/purchase some items for a Christmas craft party. The store was unorganized as usual which doesn’t bother me and we were all having fun joking about things ect. We found several items and the kids we’re excited and maybe a little to excited lol so as we were approaching the register one of the cashier’s started yelling at the kids for running up to check out and so we went to the only other register that was open to avoid a confrontation and that cashier and another customer started saying how it’s rude when adults let they’re children destroy the store……. The children never left our sides!!!! Then the cashier refused to check me out and told me I had to go to the other register. NOW let me just say I have been shopping here for over 10 years and the unruly children and customers I’ve seen and never has any employees treated them in that manner in my presence. So needless to say I won’t be back!! It’s bad enough that the store has raised their prices for a lot of junk but when they treat there customers with such disrespect that’s where it draw the line. I hate to bring race into this situation but we we’re the only white ones!

Generally speaking I love Goodwill and the whole "one man's trash is another man's treasure".
But Goodwill is WAY TOO gutsy nowadays with attempting to price what they're certain they'll get.
The gall to price something higher than it's original value really is a trigger for me. I've posted a short video of a decorative harvest cattail plant that is priced a whole dollar higher than the store's original sticker. On this particular visit there were TWO items that had original store stickers cheaper than Goodwill's sticker price.

Now, maybe the economy is such that they know they can get away with it and will get their $...with some consumers. Maybe MOST consumers!
But not with me. And it's not even about that higher priced dollar, with me.
It's about that Goodwill is not non-profit anymore. They get their product and merchandise by donations! And they still have the nerve to ask at the checkout, the customer to donate to pay people for jobs at Goodwill. And then the balls on top of that to charge HIGHER than what the store's original asking price was...
I guess that what it is...the balls and the nerve.
I refuse to give in, tho.
