Decent late night meal. There was no line and the restaurant and the bathroom were clean. The staff was friendly enough. A nice assortment of fountain drinks, including Hawaiian Punch. The chicken burger was surprisingly tender and juicy and was made to order. The French fries were hand cut, not overcooked, served hot, and tasted like French fries should taste.

I like P Terry’s Burger Stands, this is the most recent one I have eaten at. Nueces St@MLK is a good location because I deliver around Austin.

I like the #2 Cheeseburger combo with bacon added and jalapeños added. They have Big Red at this location on the soda fountain ⛲️ so extra points!

I’ll choose P Terry’s over any fast food it’s way better and $10!!!!

Went in after a long night and got extremely great customer service by Fernando. Made great conversation and made me feel welcomed. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Would recommend a million times over. Great fries and even better burgers.

Only reason I'm giving 4 stars for food is the fact the french fries are not 5 star like the burgers. Sorry P. Terry's. Honestly, the taste and quality seem like that west coach joint, and I don't care for theirs, either. Otherwise, burgers are great, and I'd say, quality-wise, on par with 5 Guys. Always use the drive-thru, but the wait is never too long.

Nice patio area and it’s pet friendly!

Inside has like a cool retro vibe to it and it also had plenty of seating arrangements

I really enjoyed the veggie burger and I would definitely recommend this location.

I dont know why I got free fries 😂😂😂 I appreciate it. I went to this store without any expectation (in-n-out fangirl from CA), turned out, I would become a fan of P Terry’s now. The price is reasonable, fresh patty, grilled onion - whole burger sent me back to my childhood. Simple and neat burger, I will come back to try cheese burger and veggie burger 🤓 Oh, root beer shake is my favorite hehe.

I've enjoyed P. Terry's since 2006 when I first moved to Austin. If you think In-and-out is good, P.Terry's is way better. The fries are actually good. The price has gone up since the early 2000s but it's still a bargain. Burgers are not gourmet, it's still fast food, but it's good. For the price it's delicious, and the fries are amazing. If you are like me, you may want to add salt, as they aren't overly seasoned like most fast food fries, so just do it to taste.

I have a slight nostalgia bias, but you shouldn't be disappointed. There is a good reason why they have grown so much since their humble beginnings!
