The school enrollment process is a nightmare. After confirming my daughter was approved. Then 2 weeks later, they were asking for more paperwork or she will be separated from the school. I kept delivering everything they asked and every call I was told something different to the point I gave up and withdrew her from the school altogether.

The teacher was amazing but their office is the complete opposite. Awful to say the least.

Even though my son just started I have nothing but positive experience so far. The comfort of live chat helped a lot especially during weekends. I had some hiccups with the documents but everyone was very responsive and helpful.
I absolutely love how teachers reached out and welcomed us. And my son’s homeroom teacher Samantha Pace was so helpful and her communication has been amazing.
Hopefully our experience will stay as good as is it right now 🙂

Horrible communication. Enrollment is quick and easy, but once your child is enrolled, communication hits a brick wall. Countless emails go unanswered or with auto-reply messages. You can go as far as contacting the principal and will not get communication.

My daughter was a student for 6th-7th grade, enrollment process was a bit of a run around, the teachers were amazing and were always available when needed. My daughter is 2 months away of finishing 8th grade. I reached out all year about getting my daughter's transcripts, left voicemails and emails...NOBODY has gotten back to me yet. The office needs to get it together. My daughter's school is now saying she will have to repeat 6th grade because there is no proof that she completed it.

Update: the school is still unorganized, and I had to reach out to my teacher multiple times about an assignment that she moved without notifying me. She ignored my message, then proceeded to joke around with the other students in chat. My classes are still getting canceled without a heads up. And my teachers didn’t even have the decency to give me an extension on my assignments (I was sick for two weeks, and unable to do work) they basically just told me to get it done, then proceeded to complain about my overdue work and say that I’m failing the class. Although I had two kind teachers (out of 7) last year that gave me a two week extension. I bet these same teachers would have an issue if someone did that to their children. I feel as though I have no support system amongst my teachers, my math teacher tried to put fear in the students of her class by telling them, that they don’t understand the immense amount of pressure the EOC is going to bring to them, and that if we fail we won’t walk across the stage and get our diploma. I would not recommend this school to anyone, especially if there’s a child who self doubts because this school with bring you down

The school is unorganized and they cancel classes last minute. They’ve switched my schedule 3 times without a warning, and the principal doesn’t respond. The teachers pile on work, but complain when you fall behind. The teachers aren’t helpful they take forever to grade your assignments, and you have to beg them for help. I’ve been at this school for 3 years and it’s went downhill ever since then. They force students to use the mic and camera, although they are aware that some students have really bad anxiety, yet this is supposed to be a safe environment? It’s the complete opposite, it does more damage than good. They also took away all of the social opportunities that they used to have. I would not recommend this school. And Florida cyber charter academy is just as bad.

This school is extremely unorganized and does not care about their students at all! Enrollment was a mess; their transcript evaluations took so long my son wasn’t able to start at the beginning and instead started a month late. Did they start him at the beginning of a new class? Absolutely not! They threw him into established classes, marked all of the work that had been due before he started as “late,” and refused to work with him to complete these assignments. Due to this, he is failing most of his classes; mind you, he transferred with A’s and B’s. Multiple emails have gone unanswered. This is the only school with K12 that we have used and it does not make them look good at all! Find another school, for yours and your child’s sake!
Admin, please do not comment the same ridiculous response you’ve given every other person advising to “contact the teacher,” because no one there responds, but you already know that, don’t you?

Very disappointed with this school. They approve your child to start and then withdraw your child because of transcript issues that I provided and had already communicated and worked with someone on the issue. No one answers or calls you. I received an email saying my son couldn't be in DOAF but was never told they had already withdrew him. I am so disgusted with the way this school handled this whole process. DO NOT APPROVE STUDENTS UNTIL U MAKE SURE U HAVE EVERYTHING!

I’m not a fan of any of the teachers! Digital Academy of Florida needs to do better. These teachers act like you’re bothering them when you call to ask about anything. It’s giving attitude and annoyance! It’s been only two months since my Child started and I had to changed her homeroom teacher already. Office staffs are no help. Everyone gives you a different answer to a question when you call in and no one knows anything! Live classes are way too long for a kindergartener. My child has Anxiety and ADHD also a 504 Plan not one teacher follows. Overall, my Child is making really good grades because I’m on top of everything.
