Artsbridge provides multiple art opportunities to the community. They have a program in all the local elementary schools called Art Cart (only one school in the county has a designated art teacher). They do a Spectacular Arts Day for special needs kids in their service area. They have a summer and winter music series. Summer at City Park and winter at the MALL , Covid permitting. There are many art opportunities from learning how to do different painting mediums, art projects such Art after dark at the Marietta Armory the first Friday of every month, and participation at most local festivals. They provide The community with upcoming art events every week on WTAP and on their webpage. They have continued to provide quality art opportunities thru the Covid pandemic via virtual learning. Check out their artist corner at Grand Central Mall and currently (May 2021) there are exhibits from the kids participating in thee Very Spectacular Arts Festival. There is also Scholarship opportunities for a graduating senior from our service area (applications are available in November typically)
At Artsbridge, we know that a strong commitment to preserving and perpetuating the arts enriches lives and affects economic growth. A resource for parents, educators, artists, patrons of the arts and art organizations, Artsbridge is an arts council dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Mid-Ohio Valley by promoting and supporting the arts through financial and administrative support, and arts education in our schools and community.
