This is the only grocery store in town, so people that don’t have time to drive out of town for groceries are stuck going here. Great parking and a nice store but it is clear that employees and owners could care less. Since the store sold to a chain, deli has gone downhill and it is now prepackaged instead of sliced fresh and they’ve gone with one expensive vendor instead of variety of vendors in past. They’ve gotten rid of various products I used to get over time. I get overcharged, as I did today, all the time on items! Don’t realize it until I get home and review my receipt. Today I went back to get a refund, which I don’t usually do, and no apology was provided and no explanation of “we’ll ensure this doesn’t happen again”, nothing! Just “have a great day!” Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Disappointed how things have gone downhill at this store.

Great selection. Nice staff. The size of the store is reasonable. I pass a couple grocery stores just to come to this one because I like it.

This place has it all! There was plenty of free outdoor parking. The prices were very reasonable and they also use shop fetch which gives you bonus discounts. It is very easy to see from the road. It is part of a shopping plaza so it could be part of a shopping run. There are ashtrays outside so you can pit your cigarettes out before entering.

Never shopping here again. I've been going to Lake Mills Market for nearly a decade. And in the last 3 or 4 years, it has plummeted off a cliff in products, service, quality and shady pricing. I've been feeling this way for a long time, but it was close and convenient so I put up with it. Their produce quality and selection is especially poor. I've never bought fruits/veggies that goes bad in two days so often as buying produce from Lake Mills Market. It was not like that 6+ years ago. Not to mention how absolute garbage their deli is now. The whole place is ridiculously bad. But what happened there two weeks ago finished my patronage of this poorly run and poorly maintained establishment.

I went to the store to grab several things for dinner, there was maybe 2 or 3 other customers in the store that I saw. I grabbed a basket, collected the items I needed (two items I needed were out of stock or no longer sold there, so was not surprised), and I walked towards the checkouts. There were 4 employees just standing at the checkouts; Two cashiers, a bagger and the manager I always see there. As I was approaching the checkout lane, I saw two other employees walking towards there as well. They had jackets on so they must have just finished their shift. One of them was carrying two packs of Oreos. She saw me, then speed walked to the checkout to get in front of me with my half-full basket. I found that EXTREMELY unprofessional and selfish for an employee to cut off a customer to the checkout. I let it pass even though I was in a hurry to get home and cook dinner for my family. She laid the Oreos down on the belt and all the employees just started talking and laughing and gossiping. All 6 of them. No one offered to check me out at another aisle. Nothing. No other customers were coming up to the checkouts. I waited a good minute, minute and a half, and they hadn't even rung up the Oreos yet. The employee that was purchasing them was digging around in her purse or whatever looking for something while still talking and laughing with everyone. At this point I'm getting upset, and seeing as no one was offering to check me out in the other open lane, or at Customer Service, I just slowly started unloading my basket onto the belt. After I finished they were still talking, the Oreos hadn't been paid for, and they were all just ignoring the fact I'm starting to look impatient. Not even an acknowledgement I was there. After another minute of the chatting and laughing, it was the final straw that broke the camels back. I just said, "Yup," left all my items on the belt, and walked over the the manager just standing there with a dumb grin on her face, calmly told her, "I'm never shopping here again," and walked out and I haven't returned since. Nor will I ever set foot in that joke of a grocery store ever again.

Do yourself a favor, and just stop going there. Take the 10 to 20 minute drive to go to another town and get your groceries there. Lake Mills Market doesn't deserve another penny of anyone's money. The place is total trash. Outside of one or two stockers I've seen there, who were kind and always said "hi" and asked if I needed help finding anything, there is not one other worthwhile employee or product in that building. And whoever runs that store, should kick rocks and find another career, because they are awful at their job, and especially bad at hiring and training their "staff."

Nice grocery store.. It has the pyramid brewers coffee that we like. The store has a pretty good variety of food for a smaller grocery store.

This was my first visit to Lake Mills Market. The store is spacious and clean and has a variety of products. All of the employees we interacted with were friendly. They have a great meat department and produce section. I went there to purchase Cruda Premium Raw Salsa, which was launched there today.
