Money hungry pigs. Tell you have till a date then cut you off before or morning of date. Like it says pay by 10th you getting cut on 9th or 10th morning. Why have grace period but then be weird on last day. Explanation was they cut light first since I have gas with them too and gas next. So the date was for gas like wth 🤦🏿‍♂️ it’s the same bill, same location, same provider. Snakes!! tricky wording to get you disconnected.

Then when u pay after they remotely disconnect you. You have to wait hours to get it re-connected with fee. They crooks for little re-connection fee no wonder they have 2 stars and no one speaks English when you call. Evil spirited utility company worst than major cities I lived in.

Did you know… that if you have an issue and wish to sue… you can’t? That’s right. Your city utilities use the “American Arbitration Association” as a way to dissuade you from suing and exercising YOUR rights. That’s Tallahassee for you! 🇺🇸

If you don’t know what most arbitration entails, please look it up. You’ll be shocked, to say the least!

Yes. Power back on in Indianhead. Working with public and private crews from around the Southeast 24 7 in the heat and rain, our city employees got the power restored after one of the most violent storms I have ever experienced.

It’s easy to complain about the utility company but honestly, Tally’s utilities are doing pretty good. Because the city owns the utilities, this is a not-for-profit! I imagine they are working with very little money and still manage to do a fairly good job. I’ve lived all over the country and no one ever loves the utility company but I greatly appreciate the consistent text updates they send prior, during and after storms. They work hard to keep us informed, bring in extra crews to get us back up and running when the lights go out, and when ever I have an issue, customer service has always been able to fix it without a runaround. Just don’t think you’re going to call in the middle of the day and not have to wait— be realistic and try calling early in the morning when they first open or prepare to sit on hold but know when it’s your turn, your problem is going to get fixed. Thanks for all you all do! I know this has been a rough storm season — but you’re doing astronomically better than FPL!! 🙂

First, I gave bad numbers on the automated service. I pressed 5 when I should have pressed 1.

I got excellent help with the person on the phone. She was able to answer and handle the several issues I had. She was pleasant and professional. I have lived here for 30 years and have always been satisfied with the services the City provides. I lived Denver Colorado for 20 years and still keep up with friends and family. Based on conversations with them they can't hold a candle to you. Thank you.

Called at 8:02 currently still on hold worst customer service I have ever had pay for service and not getting service and all they offer is to come get it what about the money I pay you missed an entire month of trash and I have it to prove so do better !!!

I was very worried about a utility bill that I thought hadn't been paid. A very kind lady spoke to me on the phone named Mayo (I hope I spelled that right!). She was very happy to hear my name was Jude, as that is her grandson's name. She was so kind and very helpful, and quickly found my information for me. Very rare and excellent service for a city utilities call! So good that I had to come and leave a review. Ask for Mayo if you have a utilities payment question!
