I began using Digitalj2 for my business marketing as part of a franchise system. They initially made a good impression, and spent extensive time and energy learning the different marketing needs of our business. They then showed us how they would be able to deliver what we were looking for and get us the leads that we wanted. Unfortunately, this is where their good work ended, as they failed to deliver in every area that they promised to deliver results. As we pressed them to try to understand how our budget was being spent, we encountered excuses and attempts at an explanation that made it clear that they were either not interested or able to deliver the services that they assured us they could. After a 7 month process, significant investment, and countless meetings where DigitalJ2 admitted that their strategy was not working and promised to make changes, we finally made the decision that should have been made months earlier. As we transitioned to another marketing agency, it became clear that the reason their strategies didn't work is because they had no strategy. For example, money was being spent in google adwords in ways that was completely pointless, essentially throwing away the budget that we had allocated towards ad spend; additionally they claimed their SEO strategies were working while I went 6 months without a single organic lead. This was not an isolated experience that I had, as many other franchise locations had the same experience; some spending even more time and resources in their attempts to use Digitalj2 for their marketing needs. Hindsight is always 20/20, but it is now clear that they are a sales organization that just happens to sell marketing services. They know what to say and how to assure you they will be able to meet your marketing needs, but have no desire or ability to responsibly spend the money in way that will help your business.
