A friend recommended Fifth-Main a few years ago. I've purchased some really nice clothing and purses on several occasions. I recently took two shopping bags of clothes and designer purses to sell. However I was disappointed in their offer for the items they accepted! They were worth more than the $23.00 store credit. The sales associate at the desk didn't have the courtesy to tell me what they accepted. The items they passed on were bagged up and handed to me. Very poor customer service. They can keep the credit! I won't patronize this store again!

This place is such a scam. They took 7 items of my clothing including 2 pairs of brand name jeans, a jean jacket, and 2 sweaters and offered me 8$. Meanwhile they would have sold each item for 5-20$. I used to like this place but they don’t offer fair prices at all

I tried to sell two huge bags filled with Abercrombie jeans, anthropology, Versace sunglasses and a ton of other stuff. They kept my stuff for a month. When I went back to pick my stuff up, they said they would give me $120 in-store credit or $40 in cash for like 30 items. All items they wanted to buy were high end and in great condition. The sunglasses alone were $250 retail. I have no idea how they come up with their prices but it's very frustrating the little amount they offer for nice items. It makes absolutely no sense. It was beyond a waste of time. I would highly recommend not selling your stuff here. They totally rip you off. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated and will not go there again.

Fifth Main is a great place to shop! Everyone who works here is friendly and always greet you as soon as you walk in. They have nice items. I really like their clothing and jewelry choices. It’s a nice place to go when I need to try finding a pretty outfit for events, and they also have great finds for casual wear. I recommend shopping here.

Be cautious and very aware when working with them on a sell or trade. You may think there is an option to get cash for your items but they only offer trade credit (a card that can only be used in their stores). Their deceptive description on their web site uses the words, "at the buyer's discretion". This is very deceptive and what's worse is the "review" time from when you drop off until you can come back to review their offer is about 6 weeks. And then in my case after 6 weeks they had to perform the review & offer on the spot-- things sat there that long without being looked at! It appears to be a scheme where they simply trap you into donating your used items and then using that to "trade" for other items. My recommendation is to stay away!

I have sold designer items here before and never had a problem with them verifying my items but I had to wait over a month for me to drive all the way back to the buying counter for them to say that they couldn't buy my items because they couldn't verify the validity of them… so not sure what the credibility of who is in charge of the purchasing counter but I just sent my items into The RealReal and it took just as long for them to verify my items with less hassle and now are available for sale.

Honestly, I’m insulted. I dropped off a giant bin of new and used Anthropologie items, new Reformation jeans, new Madewell jeans, rag and bone blazers, and more. They kept my items for a month and when I came back, thinking they’d give me a cash offer, they offered me $108 of in-store credit. Insulting. I wouldn’t waste your time trying to sell your items here. I used to love shopping at the location on Main Street too but I think they just lost a customer.
