I enthusiastically recommend Lee Walker at Monument Camera in Tucson, Arizona. From the instant I contacted him, my experience was truly incredible. I wished to sell my original 1960s Pentax 6x7, along with several accessories, but due to some mobility problems, I couldn’t get to the store. I sent an email to Lee, detailing my circumstances and inquiring if a home visit could be arranged. To my astonishment, within 24 hours, Lee was in my living room.

He was extremely courteous, respectful, and professional. He requested to bring the whole collection to his shop for cleaning and to conduct a more detailed assessment, which, to be frank, I usually would not have felt at ease with. However, after examining his online profile and observing his sincerity, I placed my full trust in him. Lee guaranteed that he would have everything prepared by 5:00 PM that very day, including a reasonable offer.

Great store!

Monument camera is a brilliant store that will meet many, if not all of your camera wants and needs.

They sell digital and film cameras, including the relevant accessories, lens caps, batteries etc. They also carry a selection of period accurate accessories as well including camera manuals. Film is also sold, and they often carry expired film for this who want it.

Cameras are very fairly priced and are in good condition.

They also buy cameras and camera gear at very fair prices.

Other store perks include a mini camera museum, a small gallery, and an offering of decently priced workshops.

The owner is helpful and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer questions about a decently obscure camera I brought in for him to have a look at.

Overall, this is a quality store. Perfect place if you have camera needs.

Stopped by during our road trip and decided to upgrade my 35mm collection. Mr. Lee made me and my son feel like part of the crew! I ended up getting my first Lecia, and my son got his first 35mm point and shoot!

Lee at Monument was amazing—warm and patient, taking time to explain the finer details of film to two point-and-shoot novices when my husband and I dropped our first couple rolls off to be developed. Later, when there was a bit of a miscommunication with a member of the staff about picking up our film he jumped in immediately to help resolve the issue, calling AND texting me all with the same warmth we experienced when we dropped our film off and the utmost professionalism. When we picked the film
up he went out of his way to come outside to our truck and check in to make sure all was well. My husband and I were both so impressed with his thoughtful care. We’ll definitely return to Monument for all our photo needs.
