On October 23, 2024, I made my first visit to the Skin and Cancer Institute. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff. After completing my new patient forms, I was promptly called in to see the doctor. During my examination, the doctor attentively listened to all my concerns and provided thorough explanations. While no one plans to visit a skin and cancer institute, I can confidently say that the Skin and Cancer Institute staff made my experience as comfortable as possible. I went in for a 3rd melanoma excision but had never been to this office. The surgeon, Dr Bobby, was friendly, efficient and best of all, fast. Anna the PA, stitched me up. Again; kindly, efficiently and quickly. She also gave much more knowledgeable information on wound care and optimal healing practices which I had not gotten with my other half dozen excisions at another office. Everyone was so wonderful. I felt like I got such genuine and professional care here at the Gilbert office, Skin Cancer Institute. Thank you to the entire team! I will be making this my primary office for future visits.

Wow if I could give more stars I absolutely would. 10/10 for all areas. The scheduling available was truly so easy and quick as a new patientI was scheduled within 2 days. The staff members answering the calls. and my millions of different questions that I had. The front desk assistant was super sweet. The waiting room is so relaxing and fresh. The MA Sydney who took me back after I had only waited maybe 2 minutes after checking in and I was late because I was lost. Was beyond sweet and pleasant and explanied things so well. Within 5 minutes of being in the room Kairan the provider came in and she was so wonderful and so knowledgeable but I really appreciated that she actually listened to me and all my concerns then we addressed each one together and came up with a solution that was perfect for me. I left with peace of mind and excitement to go back. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience!!

They require you to write down your credit card information on a piece of paper to get any service. This is such unsafe practices. Anyone can steal your credit card information. I've never had a medical facility make me write down my credit card information on a piece of paper.

Edit: Don't let them gas light you into thinking writing down your credit card on a piece of paper is the only way to get credit card information. There are so many secure ways to get credit card information. Writing it down on a piece of paper for anyone to steal is not one of them. I understand you need this information just they way you guys went about it is the most insecure way possible.

Also, the form you fill out gives them explicit consent to charge your card whenever they want. They say they won't do that, but you have already given them permission to do so. If they decide to charge your card without your knowledge, there is nothing you can do since you already signed a form giving them consent to do so.

I had a wound that wouldn't heal, I had been to my primary but to no avail, so I tried to go with my usual dermatologist, and they were booking out two months, wild. After a little research and a few phone calls, I landed on Skin and Cancer institute, and I'm so glad I did. I called them and they got me in literally the next day. I showed up, and the kindness and efficiency that they had you don't really see hand in hand in doctors offices anymore. They also had the patience of a saint. I have a traumatic brain injury, my wife always goes to doctors appointments with me to help articulate my needs, but she was ill and couldn't make it. At this however, office they were patient and it didn't even matter. They prescribed a steroid that no one else had even considered and my wound began healing the next day. I don't think I could ever go anywhere else now.

The office and waiting room was very pleasant and comfortable. I met with Dr. Karin Dhillon. She was so very nice and very knowledgeable. After examining me, She took time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions. I will definitely be following up with her.

Kris and Dr. Chase (aka Swig Daddy lol) are always great to work with and their front desk staff is also really friendly! They’re professional but also relaxed so you’re never uncomfortable no matter what you’re dealing with. Highly recommend them and this office.
