The service writer here is great, he came here from the shop in Robertsdale, good guy and knowledgable, the manager however, Brandon Scott, is the worst of the worst, full on scam artist. I came in to get a used drive tire because I'm trading the truck in in 11 days and didn't want a new tire. $350 for a used tire, fine, I also asked them to go ahead and remove the HALO tire inflation pucks I have on each wheel end, said about 30 minutes labor, ok, no problem. I like to give my local shop work when I can, keeps them open and gives me extra time I'm not doing it myself. When the tech started on it, he used an impact gun on a small allen-head bolt and stripped it, I didn't say anything, just watched. Suddenly the manager is there telling me it'll be an hour labor instead ($129/hour), ok, that's fine, it's for a good cause and he had already started, so, ok. When they get completely done and I go in to pay, suddenly it's not an hour labor, it's the charge to remove and replace an inflation system cover () and since I have one on each axle, it's flat rate of $50 X4 !!! Oh, but we won't charge you for the one we damaged, because we're such good guys. SO, 45 minutes of labor, a damaged part and an agreed upon price all meant nothing to the greedy as*h*le taking my money at the register who is now the manager and not the service writer. $551.68 for a used tire and a few minutes to remove the HALO pucks (they are dirt simple, HALO has a lot of videos to show how easy it is). I have always given extra little jobs like that to my local shop, it builds a rapport and helps them and me stay in business, never again will I bring any business to them, and I'm telling every O/O I know about what happened to me here today. Times are too tight right now for someone to get greedy when you get to the counter to pay and double the agreed upon price. Never again.
