We've got a second home in Ellijay. Will be full time residents in a few years. I stopped in about a year ago, just scouting out the area. It was a slow weekday. I went in to just look around. There was nothing that I was particularly hunting at the moment. The owner and his assistant chatted with me for a good while. I did end up buying a 20 round AR mag that I needed. The store has a good selection of used firearms and accessories. I collect military firearms. This was a great experience and I WILL be coming back.

Walk in atmopshere was decent but gets ruined by the owner staring through the back of your head. After only five minutes of browsing we were told to leave or buy items. Also, the employee there was haggling with another customer and stopped negotiations to tell us to leave. Our plan was to purchase ammo and a magazine for our glock back at home. I will not go back and would recommend others to do the same.

I took my brother in law a 19 year Navy Man, sister,and my wife. We didn’t have an appointment,so I understood we couldn’t get on the range,as there was another group on it. My problem is,I assume the owners attitude. He didn’t introduce himself.was very abrasive,said in a angered tone,should’ve checked the website. He didn’t tell us when the best time to come back,or appreciate you stopping in. There was nothing that indicated he wanted our business,or that you felt welcomed. It’s his prerogative to treat customers,who would be willing to spend money in his establishment,any way he wants. It’s our prerogative as customers to decide where will spend our money,and if we would want to frequent the business. We won’t be back!

Excellent and clean indoor range. Great staff and a very welcoming environment. Any negative feedback on this review page seems very far from the truth, as my entire family had a great day here. I will be back to shoot the next time we are here in North Georgia.

I’ve been a customer of the north Georgia gun range for several years. This shop is great. If you are a fan of Colt SAS’s, 1911’s, vast assortment of vintage Winchester’s and other sporting arms plus a huge assortment of tactical weapons this is your shop. This store is a treasure trove of hard to find firearma and the quantity and selection can’t be beat. My family and I have only been treated with respect by the owner and his staff.

I'm spoiled having a great range like this so close to home. The Folks there are always friendly and ready to help. Great prices and a well stocked shop. Travis, the gunsmith is a WIZ! I highly recommend this shop. Picture a gun shop like the old show "Cheers"!

Range is permanently closed according to an employee, but they still advertise on Google as having an open range, also the atmosphere was really unpleasant, I know it's a gun store but at least other stores I've been to have a guy who likes to talk and is passionate about explaining firearms to people.
