Room just as pictured! It was comfortable, large enough for two people who are just friends (so many rooms seem designed for married couples!). The bathroom mirror was actually bright enough to do one's make up. I liked that the sink area was separate from the shower and toilet so one could be in the shower while another was at the sink or drying their hair, etc. There was a full length mirror; they cleaned every day and all the staff was very friendly and helpful.|The down side is there is no elevator so taking one's luggage up a flight of stairs can be a challenge for those over 70. The other downside is the lack of complimentary breakfast. There is a restaurant on the premises and it was very good, but that means one has to wait to be seated.

A complaint was made to best Western corporate, and a complaint will be made to the BBB. I was never told that my keys were disabled on day two of a three day trip. My balcony is a fire hazard right now because it’s blocked due to construction. I took a video of the fire hazard. My room was double booked and I spoke to Marjorie three times about the issue. I was able to stay in my room, but my keys were disabled. I was never told to come and get a new set of keys and I was locked out. Thank goodness I was locked out in the front, and not on the fire hazard balcony, that could’ve been very dangerous.

We stayed here in late October. We were in a separate wing from the main building. It was very quiet, nice - even though it was on a main street!
The room was very clean. My only complaint is there were only 3 or 4 kleenexes in the box. There should have been an extra, because it was obviously getting quite low.
The beds were very comfortable & the shower was great! There was no scent in the bedding or sprayed in the room. I have allergies, so that was such a relief! Thank you!
We would definitely stay here again. The pricing was good & it was a very pleasant stay.

Many other local charming places to stay at a significantly higher cost point. But Best Western is consistently the same great value place to stay all across the west. This particular Inn had quite large comfortable rooms with plenty of parking at a reasonable rate. A/C worked fantastic. Over-the-top activities for the kids. Really well kept swimming pool with a family-friendly evening movie playing in view from the pool and a free 9-hole putt-putt course. If you get a room close to the pool, what better way to keep the kids entertained.

The staff was friendly and helpful but we had a room in the cottage and the doors wouldn't shut properly. It didn't latch without pulling up on the handle. There was absolutely no hot water in the shower either.

The room was nice.

The Best Western Inn of the Ozarks definitely lived up to its high ratings. My room was spacious, very clean, and had very good amenities. When my two room keys didn't work on day 2, one of the housekeeping staff went to the office for me and had my keys reprogrammed. As I have a walking disability, I was very grateful to not have to walk down to the office and back to do it myself. I'm very impressed and highly recommend this Best Western!

We had a great stay here. The pool and outdoor entertainment area were really nice. The pool is a lot bigger then most we saw driving around town and it backs up to the woods rather then right off the noise street. Our room was a good size for our family of 3 and very clean. The staff was friendly and had great communication when we were booking our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

When booking the room, we were showed a price on the internet. When we arrived, we were charged another higher price. When we inquired, we were told this was the “average going price” for the room. This is the first time we’ve ever experienced this classic “bait and switch” tactic at this hotel and will not be back because of this! Also, we travel with our 2 small dogs and we’re charged $20 per dog per night. What are we going to do? Not agree after traveling for 6 hours? You got me there! This has never been charged like this in the past and caused us to pay an extra $120 in pet fees for our dogs that never have accidents, and an extra charge per night on the room even after our $18 per night Best Western rewards discount. I don’t know if these policies are new, or are due to greed but each of these will keep us from ever staying at this location again. We will only be back to have breakfast at the Myrtie Mays restaurant.
