Had a great experience buying a Sony A7c2 and lens in this store. They are patient with questions and let you try many lenses to make sure you find what you want. I was impressed with their selection and inventory. Prices match all the major camera retailers like B&H photo. With used equipment trade in promo deals, it makes a lot of sense to buy local and support this awesome camera store

The best photography store in the greater Sacramento area. The new store amazing (tons of space, lots of gear, classrooms upstairs), but what truly makes it a great experience is the staff. I’ve never been to a retail store that the staff is consistently friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable and willing to spend time answering questions. They are all passionate about photo and video and it shows.

They also allow well-behaved dogs in, so I almost always have one of mine with me when I visit so they get showered with attention.

Also, cool lounge area at the front of the store to relax at! (I’m waiting for the espresso machine to arrive to make that area perfect!)

I want to give the highest regards to Marcos who helped me with my new Panasonic Lumix. He was able to help me set my Luts for my African safari. I took 13,000 photos in jpg and raw which all came out incredible. I will continue to go back to Action Camera for all my photography needs.

The new store location is great with a lot of space for all kinds of photography goodies. They also regularly post useful photography content on social media, well worth a follow.

Easily the best camera store in all of Northern California!! The staff is always very welcoming and they love it It when I bring in my lil doggies!! I took some intermediate classes here and I was surprised that I actually have a lot more to learn. They really stepped up my photo game. I appreciate all the knowledge they dump on me 👍🙏

Nice employees, but didn't give you space to consider your purchase. Felt rushed and ended up with a camera I regretted. It performed badly and was exactly what I didn't need. Brought it back a two days later, and they charged me a $104 restocking fee for a $700 camera. Terrible policy for less than 7 days.
