The Acton-Agua Dulce Library is beautiful, spacious, and very clean. As a local resident and member of Friends of the Library, I am so proud of our community's committment to providing such a great source for learning and activities for kids of all ages and for the opportunity to use computers free of charge. I can't say enough good things about the Acton Library, especially their children's area! It’s a fantastic space filled with toys, puzzles, learning activities, and an excellent selection of board books. They have little chairs perfect for the kiddos, and even computers geared towards young learners. The space is always clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for families. Whether you're looking for a quiet reading spot or fun educational activities, this is the perfect place for children to explore and learn. Highly recommend!

Amazing library but what a disappointment to see that they are poisoning the water/wildlife/surroundings with Roundup instead of cutting the grass that they don't want with a weed eater. I literally saw a rabbit eating that grass a second before the guy with the sprayer arrived. Horrible everywhere, but specially here with all the wells.

California. California has led the charge in holding Monsanto accountable for Roundup's carcinogenicity. In fact, as early as 2017 the state added glyphosate to its list of carcinogens. In March 2019, Los Angeles County issued a moratorium on Monsanto's Roundup.

"Glyphosate is a primary drinking water contaminant of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and has a Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) and Maximum Contaminant Level Goal (MCLG) of 700 ppb. In animal studies, glyphosate caused developmental effects, including reduced infant body weight and skeletal changes."

My recent visit to this library was a mixed bag, especially for families with autistic children. While most of the staff were wonderful, the front receptionist librarian was disappointingly rude. Despite her behavior, the rest of the staff were welcoming and professional. However, the encounter with the receptionist overshadowed what could have been a pleasant experience. Families with autistic children might want to approach with caution.

This is a great and underutilized library. They have a great selection off books and magazines as well as PC and printer access. They also have lots of virtual programs that are free. The staff is really helpful if you need assistance finding something. The branch also has story time and arts and crafts for the kiddos. I'd recommend the Acton Agua Dulce library to anyone who is interested in some quiet time to be productive.

Best library in the AV. Has the nicest layout and the most comfortable space you could ever want with a scenic view of the area and plentiful computers along with a varied catalog often updated and people always willing to help out. The restroom, even though you need to be buzzed in, is easily my favorite in the entire area if you’re searching for a place and you really need it. Great for a stop on a long drive.

A beautiful library that was long overdue for this small town. It is a great, quiet place to read or work. However, during the school year it can get a bit loud after the middle school lets out. Many of the parents use the library as a makeshift daycare, and the kids can run a bit of a muck. So if you're going in the afternoon on a weekday, bring headphones.
