I don't know why there are so many negative reviews here. I assume management has been changed..?
But what I do know for sure is this; as of my frequent visits this December of 2018, I can guarantee that all the workers here are real good people. They've always been kind, polite, and welcoming in every visit I experienced so far. The same goes for the guards/officers inside the facility. According to the person I visit, the guards in this facility have been treating them as any other man should to another, with respect.

So, I don't really know what this facility was like before. But I can surely say it's a whole lot nicer now. Probably even the safest facility out there. Keep up the great work please!

What's not to love? The only problems are caused by the detainees themselves. Except for a few staff members. The detainees often. try to manipulate the system.
Many detainees are nice, well-mannered criminals who had served their time and are waiting to see if they get to stay in this country or get kicked back to their homeland. Some detainees are rude. Others are from India, very nice.
There are NO children at this facility. Though many people act like children. Best days of my life were spent in those walls...

I'm active duty military which the staff doesn't know because why should they care. These people wear uniforms and automatically think they have some sort of power(especially the 2 women that sit in the front and check you in to give you a locker key they are extremely rude and talk to you like you’re stupid). The staff here is the most unprofessional that I’ve ever seen. One time I called to see what hours contact visitations were and they gave all the incorrect information. I live 4 hours away and the last thing I want to deal with is the staff.

This place is terrible, they treat everyone like animals. This place should be shutdown, workers here have bad attitude and it seems the people detained in this place have some kind of politics within the cells. The same detainees ask for money and threat other detainees if they don't give anything. I can't believe they don't see this. Definitely reporting this....

Absolutely horrid place. Couldn't buy any ice packs anywhere and they claim to process ice? Absolutely ridiculous. Plus several violations of human rights would not reccommend this establishment to keep open.

This place is terrible if you could call it a torture take shaver for all I care they give a f*** about everybody there they treat them like animals I can't Geve not one stare there kill are family s today one more died 3/22/2018 7pm they turn off phone and no visits are allowed . so they not tell us !

Shame on Geo Group for the abusive conditions at their immigrant detention centers. "The facility has been widely criticized for a number of problems, including inadequate medical care and serious safety violations. A Department of Homeland Security inspector general’s report made public last year disclosed that a Nicaraguan man had died there, found hanging in his cell from his bed sheets, and that two other detainees had tried to hang themselves.

Detainees routinely hold hunger strikes to protest conditions. A recent report by the California state auditor found that Adelanto has failed to properly oversee the management of the facility."

This is my second time coming here to visit my husband actually I'm here and I don't understand why they said they have visit at 8am until 8 pm on Saturday I'm coming all the way from Compton with my daughters and they just told me is not going to be able to see him until 11:30 almost 2 hours waiting and they don't give an explanation the people working front desk not really good attitude
