Joseph was a great pourer, and knowledgeable about the beers. Prices are lower than in town! The pizza food truck in the parking lot is amazing!

We meet our shuttle driver Luke, in the Alaskan Brewing Public House, departed on the hour to reach the factory for tasting. It was a wonderful experience to be able to taste their pride and, honestly, was the best beer ever tasted!
This is a must do especially when you get off your cuiseship and have no excursion and want to have a good time.

Beer is really good. Quiet and relaxed ambient, I imagine because of winter. They don't serve food, but you can buy from the food truck next door and bring it in.

We saw a sign outside of the Public House near the Harbor advertising a free shuttle to the tasting room. HIGHLY recommend. Our driver also acted as a tour guide during the drive. If you have the time in Juneau and like beer, hard seltzers, unique sodas I definitely suggest taking advantage of this opportunity!

We went to the one put of downtown, they have an amazing dog friendly patio entrance outback! Tried the island ale and loved it, the hard seltzers were especially good. Loved the atmosphere here, a little calmer than downtown spot. Took some growlettes for our VRBO.

Discovered a free ride to the tasting room from the downtown location. Our driver, Luke, was awesome providing us with a tour of the town complete with eagle sightings. The tasting was great , reasonably priced and away from all the crazy cruise ship tours.

While we were in Juneau, we went to an Alaskan Brewing Tour. We headed over to their downtown “Alaskan Brewing Depot” where you can purchase the tour, and then the shuttle will take you directly to the brewery.

As soon as walked in, we saw shiny brewing equipment behind a large window. A room next to it was the first tasting room for the tasting tour. It was small and cozy. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny too. He told us great information about the company, founders and the beers.

In this room, we got to taste three different beers on tap. Alaskan Amber, Alaskan White, and Icy Bay IPA. All different and unique, and all very tasty. The greatest thing about these beers is that they are made from glacier-fed water from Juneau Ice Field!

After that, we moved to another room with full selections of their beer offerings. We were given beer bottle caps, which are used as tokens for the tastings.

In here, we got Aurora Cherryalis, Husky IPA, Baltic Porter, and Smoked Porter. We had soooooo much beer here, it was crazy! It was certainly worth every penny and more. I am not a heavy beer drinker, and I drank so much more beer than I could handle… One of the best brewery tours we’ve ever been on for sure! If you ever are in Juneau, I definitely recommend this tour!

Nice place to visit for some drinks and souvenirs. Most of the beer were great but I would personally stay away from the fruity ciders. They have an outdoor seating out back and some food trucks just on the otherwise of the building.
