I can finally be honest again because we're not under the threat of Monopoly. This grocery store sucks and I'm looking forward to their CEO finding out

I'm used to the Acme markets on the East Coast that Albertsons own. My visit here was pleasant. The store was clean and well stocked. I'm definitely going back, comparing prices with Fred Myers. You can get some things cheaper here.

Ridiculous. The cashiers move at the speed of molasses. No good when you was r to buy 2 items and wait for 10 minutes just to walk out with nothing because you don't have the time to wait on them moving like a sloth

This is one of the last Albertsons in my area around Southwest Portland and Beaverton. Most of the locations have been transformed into Safeways. Overall, it's basically the same thing as any other Safeway would be. The only negative thing I have to say about this location is the fact that there's only one entrance and it's the one side of the store. Most grocery stores have two entrances or at least one entrance on one side and then an exit on the other side. This one funnels everyone through one entrance area, which doesn't really make a lot of sense considering that you have to walk through the whole store and then still have to come back to the one entrance side to leave. Other than that, there haven't been any issues that I've experienced. However, the clientele who visits this location is out of the ordinary Phoenix tattoos. Bear sings dressing wear dyed here things of that nature. I'm thankful that I don't have to visit the Portland locations often, but whatever I do I'm always greeted with these type of people

Not sure why I keep coming here. Their 4 for 20 meat deals sends you home with nearly spoiled meat in decievingly small portions. I’ve gotten bad and spoiled fruit n vegetables here. Kinda wish this store would close and something better would open here. I’m happy they hire intellectually disabled folks, but I wish they would teach them how to bag food properly.

I was disappointed in their limited organic selection. They did not even have the basic range of the Safeway organic options, and that’s their partner store. People seemed happy there, and almost unaware they were running a business. Almost cliquish, but I suppose fun for them. As a newcomer I found it uninviting. I think it’s taken a COVID hit and could probably stage a comeback.

Edit:
They’re radically improved

I've been shopping at this store for 41 years. They are a small store for an Albertsons and had super customer service when I started shopping there. Since the merger with Safeway the customer service has gone down hill pretty bad. Currently they have only one electric shipping cart for people with mobility problems. When I can't use a cart my shopping trip is pretty much over. Also there are errors on my receipts (in their favor) 9 times out of 10. One time they overcharged me nearly $30 . It's sad how the store has changed. It's looking run down and there are hardly any "busy" times.

I keep shopping there when I can, but it's certainly not the store it once was.

Atrocious wait times. I remember when this was the best grocery around. Now they make you wait in a line that goes halfway to the back of the store. Get some freaking self checkout lanes what the heck!
