This park is a nice place to visit during Spring. You get to see so many ducklings walking, and swimming with their parents. The park on itself is ok, it’s a good place to come and get some exercise. It’s nice to see the little lake in the middle of the park, while you’re walking. And it’s also a nice place to watch the sunset. But be ready to hear all the noise from the ducks, and also be careful not to step on all their droppings. Although I don’t mind all the droppings on the park, I mean it comes with the territory, what I do mind it’s all the trash in the water. People have managed to make this park a mess. There’s also certain areas of the park where the homeless like to hang out, so just be aware of that. They seem to be minding their own business, but just figured I should mention that. There’s free parking in the park.

Relatively new restrooms built next to the golf course on the Redondo Beach Blvd side. Funny how they can spend money to remove graffiti on the restrooms but can't get the hand dryer fixed after a year. I've written to them several times in the past year. I've even told a maintenance worker on site, but it still doesn't work. Now it's 2025. Let's see if they will let it go another full year.

I stayed at the south corner of the park where the small lake is located. Many ducks swam back and forth in the lake while some ducks were enjoying the uninterrupted sunbathing on the small island with a bridge that is gated.

Very family oriented. A lot of folks were walking dogs while some just walked or ran around the lake.

It appeared that the park was managed by the LA County. I saw the park personnel picking up trash and loading it up into the back of his truck.

I do not golf or have no interest, so I wouldn’t know anything about that part of the park. As for the walk itself, my guess is that it would be just about a half mile in distance to walk or run around the lake, in comparison to the adjacent park Columbia Park.

What time does the park close on Saturday? My friends and I parked on the street and walked into the park around 8pm. A park employee drove by on the driveway and said the park was closed on a megaphone. We turned around and walked back to the car. They unlocked the gate so they can drive out and locked it back. I'm guessing it's because it's getting darker earlier. The park is a nice place to walk, and I like the splash pad. I would like to suggest that they power wash the sidewalks near the pond. I enjoy watching the birds there, but It would be nice to spray down the sidewalks once a week to get rid of the bird poop. There's too much poop, and I can't enjoy my walk if I'm trying to dodge every step. The playgrounds are clean, but need to be updated. Looks kinda boring and outdated. The picnic area near the Northside of the park is nice.

Can't give 5 stars, since some patchy grass here and there. Greens were consistent and not too bumpy, hey it's a SoCal course, out isn't going to be Augusta. I have not played in a long time, and this was a great return to the game.

I appreciated the nice starter and cashier at the turn. Great service.

Watch out for the squirrels. They get hungry and may follow you around.

A foggy morning but the park looked great. A lovely duck pond with so many ducks and geese. Squirrels everywhere all waiting to be fed. Fishing. Skateboarding area.
