Although they didn’t have what we wanted it was very cool to look around. I haven’t been to Barnes and nobles in years great to see they still have the puppet stage for kids. Amazing selection of toys and books. Very cool music selection as well!

Good selection, could be better. They don't carry older issues of manga . Just current ones. I have yet to have 1 employee say hi to me since it's been around.

Purchased a pair of Peepers reading glasses for $30 two days ago in the Cedar Rapids Barnes & Noble store. Decided they were too bold for my face so I went back yesterday and did an even exchange for a lighter color. Decided those were still too big for my face, so I went back today to just return them for my money back. No go. Because I did an exchange rather than return the first pair and repurchase the second pair, 'their system won't let them do a return' - only a store credit. And this was per a manager. WHAT?! You have GOT to be kidding me! And they wonder why everyone is shopping at Amazon instead. Won't step foot inside this store again.

The only remaining store aside from Walmart that still sells non-used physical media. I wish this particular location had more variety of titles to offer compared to other B&N locations, but I'm still appreciative of it's presence as well as all the frequent sales they offer.

It's nice to actually look at things in front of you instead of online, but yes you do have to leave the house. Saw these cups from Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro, they are less money here than online.

I use Barnes and Noble solely as a coffee shop. Meeting friends there at the in store Starbucks. The coffee shop is well worn and minimally comfortable. The counter staff were friendly despite having some technical difficulty with some of the machinery malfunctioning, which beeped nonstop for the hour and a half I was their visiting with a friend. I don't mind things like that. It wasn't overly loud like a siren, but you could sure hear it. I bet those poor counter people were about to lose their minds.
