I enjoyed the great comfort food here. I'm new to this town but have come to enjoy this easy going place. I've tried a few different dishes and have never had a regret with my choices. Hot beef is my favorite and the serving size delivers as well.

If you are looking for a restaurant serving haute cuisine, this is not your kind of place. This eatery has been serving generations of folks with good American cuisine for almost fifty years , run almost solely by three women who are related. The restaurant seats over one hundred people. Menu favorites are roast beef, pan-fried chicken and the best homemade pies you'll ever eat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on various days. If you aren't a local, better to call ahead for days and times. This restaurant is for sale, so all information could change.

The food was good. Better than I expected for such a small town. The menu is small but by husband had the chicken fried steak and he said it is probably the best he has had. I had the roast beef and I'm a picky eater...rarely eat meat, but it was tender and very yummy. If we come through this town again we will definitely stop here to eat.
