Beautiful, well managed & groomed outdoor shopping complex with a variety of shops for all ages & audiences. Especially beautiful during the holidays. Also has many food options from nicer dinner restaurants to smaller dessert shops & stalls. Nice spot to spend afternoons/evenings with nice weather. Typically well trafficked and many people out & about.

Something do to when you live or travel around Lake Norman area.

Love Birkdale for small (somewhat European style) village vibe. While it is very busy, we always find something to do:
Watch a movie
Grab a bit
Sit down at fancy restaurant
Ice skate in winter
Enjoy picnic on warmer days
Do little shopping

Anytime we have visitors 9 out of 10 we will take them to Birkdale ❤️

Well maintained place with houses in first floor and shops in ground floor.. unique experience but parking can be a pain sometimes.. grab a chair and a book and sit out in the lawn..

I just had my teeth cleaned by Ashley at Birkdale Dental. She cleans my teeth carefully. She takes my X-rays and is very attentive to place the X-ray card in my mouth just perfectly. Ashley is careful and gentle. Dr. Wing came and gave my mouth and teeth an exam. He discusses with me anything I need done with my teeth. He answers all my questions and I never feel rushed. Dr. Wing really cares about his patients and wants our teeth and mouth to be healthy. I highly recommend Dr. Wing for anyone looking for an excellent dentist.

I lived here when I first moved to the Charlotte area. This village is a great place to experience great dining and live in a secure well groomed community. The atmosphere is alive in the evenings but not to out of hand later in the evenings. You’ll get your sleep and wake up to your choices of a Starbucks or First watch breakfast within a couple of minutes walking. Always enjoy Birkdale Village, love the place.

Love the area and what they have done with Birkdale Village. This review is specifically for the Ice Skating rink. Skaters beware, the skates that they rent are alike to medieval torture devices. The plastic skates with little to no padding, are painful.

Being new to the area, I've have to say that i absolutely love this village. It truley has everything i need, from food to shopping, the ability to walk and or excersise. The courtyard activities are amazing as well as the people you meet.Not one negative about Birkdale.
