We had the best time with Becky & Ben on our wedding day. From the getting ready photos to the dance floor photos, and everything in between, they were incredibly present, fun, creative, and helped the timeline of the day flow with ease. 5 stars doesn't seem like enough for the incredible work Becky and Ben did. From the first time I contacted Becky she was professional, full of positive energy, and detail oriented. She found a way to take our vision of what we wanted in engagement and wedding photos and turn them into reality. Amazingly, Becky and Ben were also able to prioritize all the photos with family and getting ready that we wanted while also maintaining a beautifully put together schedule. My wife and I are typically rather shy when it comes to photos, but Becky and Ben both have a skill for making you feel so comfortable that you want your picture taken!

Becky was incredible and a pleasure to work with earlier this summer, and our family photos turned out perfect. She was very flexible with schedule due to weather, easy to coordinate with, and made the remote, winding drive through the northwoods to reach our location. She was attentive to accommodating our preferences while mixing in her ideas and expertise to capture the best possible moments and images. We had a super relaxing and fun session, and she was able to flawlessly adapt while managing 5 children under 9yo. Absolutely recommend!

Becky and Ben are the best! We hired them for our June 2023 wedding and we are so happy we did. Becky was amazing at keeping everything moving. My husband and I are not used to being in front of a camera but she made it so easy for us. The weather ended up being very cold and rainy so we had to make a last minute decision to move the ceremony inside. Despite this not being the original plan, Becky and Ben were prepared with all the necessary equipment to deal with the poor light conditions inside the ceremony space and the photos still turned out beautiful as a result.

What impressed us the most is that after I had expressed that we wanted our portraits done at a specific location that was special to us but we weren’t sure if it would work, they drove to the location on the day prior to the wedding to scope it out. Then they drove to our rehearsal to share their thoughts on the location so that we could make a decision. And the photos turned out GORGEOUS! Highly recommend Brown Street Studios!

I first worked with Becky (and Ben) in 2017 when I found them online in reference to wedding photographers. As a photographer myself, my bar was extremely high for what I wanted / expected out of my photographer and the quality of their work. Becky did our engagement photos, our wedding (Ben helped as well), and has done a couple sessions for us since. Becky’s style is light and airy, but she also does incredible moody imagery too. She has such an eye for locations, angles, lighting, poses, etc. and directs you every step of the way. My husband and I are beyond blessed that we found Brown Street (Becky and Ben) to be our photographers for our wedding day. Before the wedding day, Becky helped me to organize the big day timeline. She answered my million questions throughout the year. She comforted my nerves with her experiences and positive mindset. On my wedding day, Becky and Ben are professional and I can’t say enough how professional they are and the quality of work that they provide. Becky even walked into a mini lake to get her feet wet just to have the right angle and lighting for taking our photos. ** We booked Brown Street Photographer in 2019 for a 2020 wedding. We had postponed the wedding from 2020 to 2021 due to covid. We rescheduled our 2021 wedding with Brown Street without having any headache.

Becky is an amazing photographer not only because of her ability to find just the right pose with the perfect background but also because of her sweet and kind personality.
