Not only do I own an original print of Buck's but I have the privilege of knowing him as well. His photographs are just perfect and for me, serve as a reminder of how beautiful our part of the country is. I have been lucky enough to host a few shows with Buck and he is always a blast to work with. Basically, he is just a downright cool cat that works hard to take solid photographs but it is his genuine love of the craft that allows him to do it better than most.

I stopped in at a local art fair and found Buck and his photography booth. I was drawn to his landscapes to begin with because are so beautifully serene! His eye for detail and composition is amazing! But when I commented on a photo of a flower he had, he pulled out an iPad to show me more. I was floored at how gorgeous they were! Buck was incredibly humble about his (awesome) talent and since then I have also seen how he encourages other artists to pursue their own talents!

Buck’s work speaks for itself; it’s stunning. What gives him the edge is how much he puts into his interaction with the customer. I stumbled upon a show of his at a garden. Right when I got home I google searched him and emailed him asking if he had any photos of a particularly meaningful flower to me, because I adored his style and wanted to purchase basically everything. He emailed me back pictures he’d taken of the flower and designed the most stunning display for me, because I had no idea how to showcase it and left it to his judgment. The finished product was more beautiful than I’d imagined. What’s more is I lived within an hour of him at the time, and rather than ship me the art, he hand delivered it, and took time to talk to me about it. He cares deeply about his work and is touched when others appreciate it. Buck is the real deal. I proudly hang 2 of his pieces on my walls, have given 2 as gifts, and have even framed the generous card-set gift he gave me upon purchasing his work. I couldn’t recommend this artist highly enough, let alone his breath taking work.
