I had the pleasure of meeting Kit West from CH Brown at a Broker's convention in Nashville, TN where we both exhibited our booths. Among the myriad of high-quality Equipment Finance lenders present that day, Kit stood out remarkably. He's a straight shooter who communicates honestly without merely telling you what you might want to hear. CH Brown is truly a professional organization. Sounds like I am not alone!
To start, my monthly payment was much more than it should have been with no explanation from CH Brown. They could only come up with a GPS fee but that would not come close to explaining the over charge.
Next I was told that I would not have to pay a early payment penalty. However, when I asked for a payment amount I was told that I DO have an early payment penalty. In addition to that penalty of almost $1700.00 I was told that I have and additional $2,300.00 owed. When I asked what that was for they said that was GPS fees. Yup, there is that GPS fee again! Just another poor example of trying to take advantage of us. I have had this loan for only four months and to date have paid them $32,734.14 on a $30,000.00 loan. All my agreed upon payments were paid in a timely fashion to date,in addition i have paid off the entire principal balance and STILL they have attempted to unlawfully repossess (steal) my machine four different times to date. This company needs to be held accountable and WILL be held accountable. Class Action Suit anyone

I have worked with CH Brown Co for at least 25 years or more and I must say they have the friendliest staff and their credit department is fair and reasonable in their decisions. They are willing to look at tougher deals too and have good rates.

If this is your only option for financing you should not purchase equipment. Higher than credit card rates with prey payment penalties.
