Reviews and rating speak for themselves. Had two of my 8mm cameras get "diagnosed" as they stated they could find out the issues with them. Only for me to return that night with no information given as to what was wrong with the cameras and to be told straight up "We don't know". They took $60 for it and make you sign a form prior to paying to refuse a refund. Staff was also incredibly arrogant and began to lecture to me as if I was an idiot and a child about how these cameras work, when they're the ones who own a camera store and cannot even have the intellect or knowledge for issues regarding cameras when they clearly stated they should figure out what's wrong with them. Don't waste your time or your money here.

Be careful of them! Sell good cameras but be careful with pricing. This is common sense but they will tell you of discounts but charge you extra. Check prices! Also, make sure to check the quality of the camera to pay the correct price for the condition. Especially if you're a tourist. Other than that they are friendly.

Dar from Camera Zone helped me secure a very rare Fujifilm camera when no other camera store in the city could help at all. He was so kind and went above and beyond during the whole process when he had no obligation to do so.

Him and his father run a great, passionate store and really care about helping camera lovers in any way they can. Couldn’t recommend them enough

Upon coming here I was very skeptical due to the negative reviews I saw on here.
However, I still wanted to give it a try. I did visit other camera stores in SF, but this one had what we wanted. Upon coming in my family and I were greeted very warmly. Every question we had was answered. We felt very comfortable. Both employees and owner were very kind people.
When coming in to a vintage shop one should know you will spend some cash, of course not all May be ready to do so. But if your really interested in some good quality vintage cameras please come in and disregard the negative reviews. Very clean environment, and organized as well!
Owner is top notch!

Really sad about the prices. Great stock and selection but they’re three times the market value on cameras and SX-70 film is 80 bucks for one pack. Told us it’s hard to find and you can legit get it from Polaroid still so guess we just have to buy it from the source and wait for shipping then be scammed. Don’t go here it’s not worth it. Take your business elsewhere.

I don’t understand the low rating: they’ve been excellent with me helping me pick a 35mm camera that is guaranteed to work well. After 2 experiences with Ebay items gone wrong, you know what, I’m happy to pay a few extra bucks in-person to make sure I get exactly what I want without being scammed. Had a really good experience here.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!
I wish I could rate LOWER than 1 star. I came here to buy film, and the man LIED to me about the expiration date and price. Charging me $55 for Fuji 400 film that was expired!!! The place also does not offer refunds/returns. Please warn others. Put this grimey man out of business.
