I HIGHLY recommend Caroll Basile! In Feb. 2024, I let her know I might be looking to move to Santa Cruz County. Caroll was a good listener and I feel really heard what I wanted. Later in the year the "perfect-for-me" house came up and I found her and I were already a team and on the same page! She had stayed in touch throughout this whole time - without being pushy - and then was there for me right when I needed her 100% ! I was very appreciative to receive her input, connections with inspectors and all the various contacts we needed throughout the process, and her friendship + support. This was a time of big transition in my life and she was thoughful, caring and understanding. Caroll stands apart as the ONLY realtor I've ever liked. Too often over my lifetime I've felt realtors only had a goal to "close the deal" and move on. It was not at all like that with Caroll - I sincerely knew she was looking out for me. If you have yet to choose a realtor when buying new or selling your home , go no further than selecting Caroll Basile! I had overheard a coworker of mine speaking high praise of the realtor she had used when buying and selling. This was approximately a year previous. After speaking to said coworker and receiving Caroll’s name, my wife and I set up an appointment to meet.

From this meeting on Caroll was the best! My wife and I had not sold a home for more than 18 years and were not sure of what to expect. To complicate matters, we had started a soft renovation of our home and needed two months to complete. There were other issues with selling the home that needed to be navigated and Caroll was right there beside us connecting with the right people and smoothing our frayed nerves. All in all, our 2 month deadline to put our home on the market was met and the home sold in the 1st month during a challenging time for sellers.

Caroll was the best from day one on! With Caroll, the relationship does not end at the time of closing. She has helped with small things like mail not being forwarded and missed clothes left in the dryer, small things for sure, but it was all the small things along the way that added up and have been so appreciated during our home selling adventure! Even to this day, Caroll remains more of a friend than our realtor!
