Paying $60 a month for a service I’m not even receiving. I’d be better off flushing my money down the toilet

Edit: was told they would take money off of my bill since my internet only works MAYBE half the month only to still be charged the same amount I’m charged every month. Currently looking into class action lawsuits and reporting this horrible company to the better business bureau. Brightspeed/centurylink is the WORST internet I’ve ever used in my life!!! You’re better off not having internet at all. Anytime we call customer service, they say it isn’t working because we have too many devices connected to it… seeing as how we only use ONE tv at a time and literally have NOTHING else connected to it, not even our phones, im not really sure how that’s possible. This company is GARBAGE!!!!

I only gave 1 star because you have to give something to leave a review. I have been without internet now for right at a month. I have talked to every department at Centurylink at this point. I had an appointment with them Friday July 1st, which was perfect, that’s my day off. They rescheduled on me for the next day, no call, just a text message assuming it was ok. Now it’s the next day, no show, just as I predicted because it’s a Saturday on a holiday weekend. Centurylink has to be the worst company to deal with! Wait times are also horrible!!

I called months ago and had my service cut off. I actually got to speak to someone on where to take my router and drop it off and it was an empty building where you used to be. So, now i can't get an answer I have a bill against me on my credit. Yall are the sorriest rip-offs I've ever seen. Just up and leave and then don't answer but yet can still send a dam bill that was already taken care of..Joke I tell you.. honestly yall dont deserve a star much less have a business...

I might as well not have internet at this point! I haven’t had internet for 2 days now the first day they said it’ll be back at the same day by 7:30pm (my internet has been out since 12pm 5/14/22). 7:30pm came up and still nothing it is now 5/16/22 and now they are say it’ll be up by tomorrow at 11am. This company is the biggest joke I have ever had to deal with. As soon as I find another service I will be canceling my CenturyLink! If you are reading this I can’t tell you enough DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME! If this company is the only one in your area you are better off using your hotspot on your phone. This internet cuts out randomly through out the day, I can’t have my game on and 1 single phone connected without it going completely crazy! If I am simply just watching tv and I turn my Wi-Fi on my phone on it’ll go completely out. I am not joking do not waist your money!!

There needs to be a -negative star grading system. I utterly despise this internet company for several reasons. I really don't know which is worse, the customer service, the pathetic actual internet service or the ridiculous prices. I wouldn't complain about prices if the service was actually decent. What infuriates me enough to go to the trouble of doing a review is that this lame internet company holds our area hostage as the only service provider in this area. We don't have a choice. If I could give a -10 stars I would. ABSOLUTE HORROR SHOW. This has been going on for almost a month now, we can’t even get a tech to come out because customer service continues to mess up on their end. After finally waiting for 2 weeks, after initially being told we could get 10mb we where only able to receive 3, we settled for the 3. A tech was supposed to come out today at 8am even texted and said they where on their way and proceeded to never show up, after being on the phone with THE WORST customer service in history they finally told us at 1pm, after speaking with a supervisor, the tech had already came out and serviced us (which they had not) and then proceeded to tell us there had been a ticket put in and we wouldn’t be getting our service today that someone would be in touch with us in a week or so….BY FAR INFURIATING. I WILL NEVER USE CENTURY LINK NOR SUGGEST IT TO ANYONE.

Everyone knows they're just not posting. Internet service is quite slow, in most areas, for the money. The past 2 modems supplied have went from bad to worse. Existing service lines are in severe need of replacing. Home Tech service has been the only plus. TOO MANY issues though.

Customer service is literally arguing with my boyfriend as we speak. ? do not get this. They lie about when your bill is due. We never got emails or a physical bill and now they are trying to say we owe almost 200 dollars! ?
