I've gone a couple times to the theater and have had enjoyable experiences. The building and interior are great and the staff are nice.

We went and saw "Andrew Lippa's WILD PARTY" the other day and it was terrible. We left after an hour and a half at intermission.

The performance was all over the place. It was overly sexualized. There were a strange amount of scenes where some of the characters attempted to get with a minor. There's was a solo scene for the lesbian character screaming about her lesbian sexual desires in a grotesque manner.

The whole thing was too much. The plot didn't make a lot of sense. Probably won't come back unless I know of the performance beforehand.

We absolutely have loved all the plays we have seen. Such a warm and inviting place. The talent is beyond amazing.

The plays that the young foot lighters do here are fantastic. The theater is small but perfect for these performances.

The seats are horribly cramped with basically no leg room. How can you enjoy yourself if you are so uncomfortable and your knees are jammed into the back of the person in front of you? I had asked for accessible seating and couldn't believe that what I got was even considered an option. The rest of the building was beautiful, I was so disappointed that they skimped on seating and shortchanged their patrons.

We came here unintentionally as we were in town for an outdoor concert by the band Bush. Due to a severe weather event, this was where we took shelter from the impending storm. I didn't catch his name, but a gentleman who works in the theater came in and played a Bush concert in it's entirety he found on YouTube in the auditorium to keep those of us who were riding out the storm entertained. It was an incredibly generous act on his part to make the most of a bad situation for those of us sheltering from the storm and exemplifies Midwestern values and hospitality. To top it off, he came over to us at the conclusion of the "concert" and asked if we had any requests. I took him up on his offer and he played a favorite concert performance of mine off YouTube, and let me tell you, it was awesome to see it on the big screen and through the venue's formidable sound system. That said, you really made our night!

Great auditorium for smaller crowd max 500, parking above ground and underground parkade, can ge little tight as parking is shared with Coralville Public Library. Overflow is possible, coordinate with CCPA. Acoustics is amazing, green rooms are great. Their lighting technicians are so accommodating and knowledgeable. Have been there for a lot of performance, including my own daughter's debut classical dance performance. Space is tight in the lobby area. Facility needs some improvements with signage. One great advantage is that they provide a edited master digital copy of the performance a few days after the event but wish they could improve their video recording with a better camera configuration with multiple angles and close-up captures. All in all, a great venue for the purpose it was buil, to encourage and nurture performing arts.

The best small venue in the state of Iowa. Excellent staff and and a very large number of volunteers. Have been there many times for young performers and have never been disappointed.. Highly Recommended.

Good energy. Could use a few more instruments. I wished the lady backstage would have stopped sticking her head out from behind the curtain. Very distracting and unprofessional. The sopranos in the chorus were so lovely. The female vocalists could have better diction, but they sounded pretty and seemed to mean what they were singing.
