We used this company for our wedding and had a great experience. Ashley and Paul were easy to work with and had great ideas for pictures. They really helped the day go smoothly and provided us with 2000+ photos, which is amazing. I highly recommend them

My husband and I just received our photos back from our wedding at the end of October. We decided to initially book Creative Interpretations for our wedding, one because we were working with a budget and the packages offered fit within our budget. We worked with Paul and Ashley for our wedding. Looking at the photos we received back I am in love with some of our photos. They are high quality and bring me back to the moments of wedding day. Paul was always easy to contact and available for questions whenever we needed him. And would always respond in a timely manner.
But there are a few reasons why I am giving a 2 star review instead of a 5. There were some moments that I felt were inappropriate and not professional of our photographers. One being while we were taking wedding party photos Paul was booking another wedding for two years in advance and called the client while he was at our wedding. I feel like this was not the moment to be doing this. At the time I didn't speak up and say anything because I wanted to carry on with photos, but I do wish I would have said something. This was very upsetting to me. Especially since Paul told me that we were his only wedding that weekend. We also upgraded to the complete package which included unlimited time with our photographers that day. When working on the timeline with Paul I had mentioned that I wanted to do a private last dance and while on the phone he complained about having to stay the entire night. Ultimately in the end I decided not to do a private last dance since he seemed to not want to stay, even though we booked for unlimited time. Our second photographer Ashley also left early to go work a second job. While I understand we all need to make ends meet, we did hire two photographers for our wedding.
After reading other reviews where Paul seemed very attentive to his other clients and quote "used all of the spaces at the venue" I felt like this was not the case for me and my husband. We had to specifically ask for pictures elsewhere across the venue. If I did not speak up all of my photos would have been on the outside of the church next to bushes, instead of the beautiful architecture on the inside. My bridesmaids had to ask for pictures of all the girls to be taken in the bridal suite, which I assumed was typical of most bridal photography.
I was also made aware that one of the photographers sparked an attitude with a member of my bridal party and some of the family members. This really upset me to hear this. I understand that there is limited time during wedding day but please do not take it out on other people.
Overall my experience with Paul and his team was ok, and we ended up with over 2000 photos, but I had to leave an honest review. I am not trying to bash anyone, I just hope that some notes are taken for future weddings so other brides may not have the same experience that I did.

John and Kim were an amazing duo. They came ready with tons of ideas, using the venue and landscape to capture our wedding day. Quick to improvise, incredibly accomodating, gracious in the face of people that didn't want to be photographed, and ultimately the best mix of personable and professional. They were sure that one of them was with either myself and/or my husband the whole day long, like a shadow.
Hearing them both be excited about shots they took, and complimenting each other has us SO very excited to see our pictures. I'd take any excuse to work with them again!

Great team. Paul did an excellent job taking my daughter's 15th birthday party pictures. He's very funny and understands what you want. If you need a photographer for your event, you can definitely count on CIP.

My partner and I went into our wedding planning originally not planning to hire professional photographers -- we had a pretty strict budget with very little wiggle room, but while perusing vendors, I saw the incredibly reasonable pricing offered by Creative Interpretations and decided to take the chance. We absolutely did not regret our choice to spring for contracting CIP for our wedding photography! We worked directly with Paul and Madawn for our photos the day of, and they communicated with us very concisely the week and days beforehand. They arrived earlier than we expected and stayed later than they really needed to, honestly, and they really blew us away with how friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and patient they were through the entire day! My spouse and I are fairly non-traditional people, so we likely had some odd requests or preferences to avoid the usual cheesy wedding poses, and they rolled with what we wanted without question or judgment. This is also our first rodeo with getting married, so there were a number of small things we hadn't anticipated or thought about, but they guided is through everything expertly! It was almost like they knew exactly what we wanted before we even needed to express it to them. Not to mention, once all was said and done, we received our pictures within days of the event and they looked utterly stunning!! I am so truly ecstatic to have worked with Creative Interpretations Photography and 100% satisfied with my experience, I would strongly, enthusiastically recommend them to anyone and everyone seeking extremely professional, talented photographers for their special occasions! Hire these folks, y'all!

My husband and I worked with Paul for both our engagement session and wedding. Knowing nothing about CIP, we decided to work with them due to the affordability of their wedding packages and ample portfolio photos. It was important to us that we found someone who could capture both the sappiness and the goofiness of our relationship, and Paul nailed it. Not only was he personable and entertaining, he also knew exactly what he was doing. He asked us the right questions prior to the big day and made sure we knew what to expect, and he slid very easily into the role of MC, which made the event run so much smoother. Not only that, but the turnaround time for photos was FAST, which was definitely a pleasant surprise! I have nothing but praise for Paul and the CIP team and am so thankful we got the pleasure of working with them.

DON'T THINK TWICE!!!!! We have a funny story, that I will try and keep short and sweet! We are Roller Coaster Enthusiasts. While walking through our home park, we ran into a guy named Paul! Our wedding was nearly 3 months away and NO photographer as several had ghosted us. Even ran away with some money. I was trusting of NO ONE being a freelancer (or use too) myself. Somehow we quickly went from talking about roller coasters, to telling Paul we are engaged and he took my phone (I didn't have my contacts in and was soaking wet from a water ride) and brought up his website! We left shaking our heads like it was some sort of joke or maybe some sort of cosmic fate! It was the fate! Within a day or two, we had our Wedding Day Team ready (which he let us pick our head and 2nd shooter)... it is in October 2022 and it will be Wic and Aimee! When we mentioned that we didn't yet even have our engagement pictures and wanted a tall order in doing them on the Camden Waterfront (which included 100+ degree weather in July... and an aquarium, ferry and carnival area on the other side... Paul jumped in and made it happen, and rather quickly! We were stunned that he didn't complain. We missed the Ferry (not any of our faults) and he redirected us before we got too upset! He even reached out to the carnival staff and made special things happen for us that are now some of our favorites! With one or two quick "costume" changes... he gave us a perfect gallery that reflects our fun loving nature as a couple of almost 4.5 years! The only thing that went wrong was, NOTHING! We chit chatted about coasters and you will never find a more down to earth owner to have to deal with and actually PICK UP THE PHONE and answer communications within minutes. We wish we could have Paul join us at our wedding too, especially with it being a difficult venue... but he has assured us, that Wic is our guy as he actually has more wedding years then anyone on his roster. We couldn't be more thrilled and relieved. From start to finish, we highly recommend CIP!! Thank God that amusement ride broke down! Fate, we say! 🙂
