First visit. Went with some friends while we were camping in the area. A really great place to visit. The displays were top notch. And you could touch many of them. It was a great look at the local history and the founders of the area. My favorite part was the knowledgeable tour guides who really added color to the displays. The outer buildings had displays of resort and cabin life which I was very interested in. Not like today at all. There is a barn full of old farm equipment and a building dedicated to the logging industry that made everything possible in the area. A must see if you're in the area. No entrance fee but an offering Is very much appreciated.

I had the best experience here. The staff were so kind and able to answer any questions. The pianos and other equipment work and they’ll show you! Absolutely amazing.

A very nice local museum.
Lots of historical items consisting of home life, logging and farming. Really liked the working player piano and phonograph.
Staff was very friendly and nolagible.
Free and accept donations.

Truly wonderful experience for our group. We learned so much about the area. The couple who guided us were wonderful. The display of the lumber camp in the second building was just incredible. I would highly recommend if you are at all curious about the area
